Thanks to the kindness of a ballet student named Jenny, the young boy, whom Jenny calls Angel, escapes his horrendous fate only to find himself in the catacombs of the Parisian Opera House where he lives with the music that haunts his soul ... and where he both tutors and loves a young woman, Elizabeth "Buffy" Christine Summers.
