I really prefer to write one-shots, since I think fanfic above all needs to be true to the characters and you don't necessarily need plot for that; I'd rather read a well-written fic about Xander delivering pizza than a sloppy fic with lots of far-fetched stuff happening. Lately, though, I've been writing a bunch of different series, with the result that I end up not finishing either of them. But I'll try to get them done one by one, so if you're curious - none of the works-in-progress are abandoned, just on the backburner for now.
I pledge to never:
- Write a fic only because I want to see two specific characters get together.
- Make a character evil just to be evil. Or good just to be good. Hey, my favourite characters are Faith, Willow, Wesley and Jayne, do the math.
- Get rid of a good but obscure joke just because I'm the only one who gets it. I write these for myself, too.
- Kill a beloved character unless I can do it in an emotionally wrenching way... or a fun way... or a gory way... or a way that's going to piss people off... or any other reason I deem valid.
- Break any of the above rules. Unless I really want to.
Favourite stories I've written (and more or less finished)... I guess "Dawn of the Dead" and "No, Nina! Bad Nina!" for silliness, "The Singular Of Apocalypses" and "Atonement's a Bitch" for deep angsty stuff, and "Five By Five By Five By..." for just general weirdity. For reasons I'll not go into here I'm also quite proud of "It's A Wonderful Unlife".
What else... oh, not American, so if I get school systems, geography or slang wrong, blame my teachers.

Starts off from the beginning of ”Family”: Tara’s family don’t give her a chance to say goodbye, just drag her back home. The scoobies follow, but... *evil laugh* Rated NC-17 for excessive violence. The first two chapters aren't that bad, but the end of chapter three starts to get REAL messy. But hopefully still in character and in the general season 5 vibe.
