#73 - Bargaining (1&2)
[episode 6.1 & 6.2]

Buffy's dead. Willow won't stand for that whole 'peaceful slumber' deal. Oh hell no, that isn't allowed in the Whedonverse. In Red's defense, she didn't know where Buffy was, but one could also say that she tried to bring Buffy back just to see how much power she (being Willow) had. Finger your noggin on that for a moment. Anyway, the depressing state of the season smacks us already, and it's just the first 2 hours! Get ready for some crying, people.

#72 - Get It Done
[episode 7.15]

Our current Slayer travels back to the time of the original Slayer, thanks to Nikki Wood's plot device....uh, I mean, "emergency kit". We get to see the Shadow Men, who are to become the Watchers. And if you squint a lot, you can see one of those guardian ladies hiding behind a rock. No? Ok, maybe I'm seeing things again. Dawn can read Sumerian too. She complains about passing her classes in school all the time, but she can speak Sumerian. Is she an idiot savant?

#71 - New Moon Rising
[episode 4.19]

I'll admit it -- this should be higher. So you can probably scrap the "this should be higher" comments, because I agree. Somehow this was dropped this low, and I don't know how. Oz returns to see Willow gayin' it up, which in turn gets him all wolfie. Eh, what can you do? Apparently you can attack Tara, and since when is that not fun? So Oz takes off again, because only Willow brings the wolf out of him, which is just convieniant for Seth Green so that he can go make movies.

#70 - Crush
[episode 5.14]

So here's the beginning of the end...Uh, so here's Spike getting a crush on Buffy, hence the title. Buffy finds out, begins freaking out. I wonder why? Oh...the next act he has her chained up in his basement. What a smoothy. In all seriousness, it wasn't a bad move by Spike. I mean, he knew what Buffy liked. You know, getting tortured and chained up. Really, I think he made too many moves. All he really needed to do was kill one of her friends, then she'd love him unconditionally.

#69 - No Place Like Home
[episode 5.5]

Buffy (and us, who have been wondering what the hell she is) finds out that Dawn isn't technically her sister, but instead a mystical key that opens a portal between every dimension. The monks made her....meat and bone and all that. So Buffy smacks her around a bit, and then figures out she's supposed to take care of her, because she's innocent. Yeah, you listen to her scream and see how innocent she is.
