Die junge Melissa Burns sucht Hilfe bei Angel: Melissa fühlt sich von dem Arzt Ronald Meltzer verfolgt. Seit sie einmal mit ihm aus war, überwacht Meltzer sie auf Schritt und Tritt. als Angel unter einem Vorwand in Meltzers Praxis erscheint, schöpft dieser Verdacht und verabreicht Angel eine tödliche Spritze. Anschließend sucht der Arzt Melissa auf. Bevor Meltzer ihr etwas antun kann, taucht Angel auf, dem die für Menschen tödliche Spritze als Vampir nichts anhaben konnte ...
