| Well I finally got around to reading this, and I must say that I'm glad I did. The new adaptation is very well woven with the actual episodes. Looking forward to the continuation after your July break. |

I loved that chapter, amazing. The dialogue is perfect and the flashbacks help fill in what actually happened. I can't wait to see what happens next! I am on the edge of my seat! Update Soon!

Beautifully written. You do a fantastic job at weaving together what "actually" happened on the show and what happens here... the hallmark of any good "what if". Oh, and I love that you made Faith's grief for the mayor (and her own guilt) her motivation; I've always been a sucker for their doomed father-daughter relationship.

awesome chapter and well written i believe all the stuff that happened in this chapter should of happened on the show but thats ok. its too bad there wont be another chapter for a while. i hope you can update before you go:)

Great Chapter, I loved it. The Xander, Willow thing with the catch up was very well done and perfect. I loved the flashback, though I would have loved to see a flashback of when Spike tried to kill Buffy and Angel kicked his butt and the whole initiative Spike thing. That would have been awesome, but I love how you did it! I can't wait for the next chapter, and more Bangel-ness. This is a great idea and I love how it is going so far! Update soon!
Author's Response: Thanks for the review! I had originally intended to do a flashback for pretty much every episode, but I quickly realized that would take me forever and result in a humongous chapter. I hope to take less time with the next chapter--school ends in a couple of weeks, so it'll probably be up shortly after that. |

Yay! New chapter! OK, so not much development, but some nice character moments and I'm intrigued about what's happened to the scoobies in Buffy's absence... and the whole Adam thing, and Faith, and... hey, I'm not allowed to complain when it comes to slow updates. This was a lovely chapter, and I hope there's another one waiting in the wings somewhere.

I've only just discovered this story and after reading all the chapters i'm realy enjoying it. You write really well! You said at the bottom of the last chapter that not a lot has happened in the last few chapters, which is true, but it's not a bad thing! The scenes were written in detail and were very good. It wouldn't have worked as well if you had rushed them. Well done! Please update soon!
Author's Response: I'm so glad you're enjoying it! Everything that's happened since Buffy woke up was pretty much going to be just one chapter (I hoped) but then it basically ran away from me...hopefully for the better! I really am going to try to update in less than a month this time. |

I really like this story a lot. Don't worry I think you have Faith down. I'm really curious now about what happened to Faith...and why Angel should know...maybe she went to L.A with him??
Author's Response: Thanks so much for R&Ring. And don't worry, you will find out about Faith...eventually. Not in the next chapter, unless I change my mind which is not exactly unheard of, but most likely in the one after that. Or...well...actually...there was that other idea I was considering, to make this part even longer and more drawn out...well, you'll find out eventually. probably in 2 chapters. |

Another great update... somehow it almost seems appropriate that a story this well-crafted takes its time, both in the way it's told and in the time it takes you to write it... though I wouldn't complain if updates were a bit more frequent, haha. Great characterizations - the only thing I wondered about is why Joyce didn't drop everything to drive over to Giles, but I guess she's a bit in shock... Oh, and sorry to hear about your illness, but if you own the nurse, why not have her take care of you? :-)

Do you know I love this story? So much? I keep making everything a question because I love it so much. I love how everything is piecing together.
