Brilliant. I thought the idea of the whole Rite of Isis thing was brilliant, like I said before, and I thought the concept of Cordy being sent back but still not really making a different was great, the whole 'free will vs. fate' thing that always seems to crop up in the Buffyverse. Let's see, what else? Kennedy moving out, completely understandable, moreso considering the Buffyverse will never ever have one couple end up and stay together. Dawn getting promoted, I figured she wouldn't get in trouble. And I like the epilogue. Hopefully you'll base another story off that? All in all, an excellent story (I'm very glad I stuck around for the end). :)

Oh, I forgot to tell you how brilliant I think your idea is for what the Rite does. I wanna see Alexia perform it successfully, 'cause I'm so looking forward to a no-holds-barred match between all the higher-ups. I think it's definitely about time that the Powers-That-Be got their hands a little dirty. Actually, after all those years of cryptic prophecies and using the likes of Buffy and Angel to do the job for them (without getting some major cosmic reward, I might add), it's way past due. Anyways, whether or not the Rite is performed, this'll still be a kick-ass story either way. :)

Well, now that we finally found out what the Rite of Isis does, it makes complete sense that the bad guys would get ahold of it. :p Honestly, I felt like I should have seen that coming. I hope that karma comes back to bite traitor Wiccan in the ass. Honestly now. Doesn't she know that the good guys always win? :p ...I'm guessing that the chapters to come are gonna step it up, action-wise. I hope to see more of Cordy, because I think she's one of the more dynamic characters in the Buffyverse. Ummmm... let's see. Oh yeah. Dark Willow all powered up. That's definitely not of the good. I hope a tree or something tells Hippie Willow to join the good fight and kick some evil alternate-ego ass. :p Needless to say, I'm looking forward to an update soon. :)

In all honesty, I find some of the sexual stuff a little disturbing, but I like the overall story arc, and I like how you've written the characters, so hell, I'm staying onboard.

Author's Response: Sometimes (often?) I find my mind disturbing too. Not that I could exactly have Ethan, Beth, or Dark!Willow having healthy sexualities (well I guess I could with Beth since he's an OC), but still sometimes I look at what I've written and wonder about myself. Anyway, I appreciate you sticking around!

You've obviously put a lot of thought into it, and it shows... I like the idea of redeeming Amy, and anything with Ethan in it is something I like (even if I really hope he starts acting evil soon). Curious to see what part Cordy will play, too...

Author's Response: I'll use any language--Dutch, Portugese, Norwegian, Russian--that I can get an online translator to translate. Which rules out Latin, unfortunately. What they're saying is the point (I don't even remember what they are supposed to say), so it doesn't matter that the translations aren't perfect (the ones on the show were?), just that they're spells with the requisite element of exocitism. I'm glad you are enjoying this--Ethan and Amy are two of my favorite characters.

Author's Response: What they're saying ISN'T the point. Bad self. Also, whether Amy is redeemed and Ethan will act evil really hinges on your definitions of "redeemed" and "evil" but I'll soon post the rest of the chapters and you can find out for yourself.

I must say military Vi is quite funny! You are really good with word choice and sentence/story flow. As I said previously, I love stories that are about subjects like this. And you are making the original BtVS and AtS characters very true to the show, and you are at the same time creating rich and full characters (such as Beth and Alexia) I like how you brought Cordelia back, without just saying "poof" she is back. And I think this story is flowing beautifully and to a very interesting place. Good job, please update soon! -Marissa

I just wanted to let you know that I am only two chapters in and already I am in love! I love things that deal with paganism, Wiccanism, mythology etc... This is a very interesting story, with full and rich characters. I love the meeting between Ethan and Dawn, it seemed to go so smoothly on the outside, with an inner feeling of distrust (of course, it is Ethan!) I like your character Beth, he is very well developed, and you integrated him into the universe perfectly. Good job, keep it up, and I look forward to continuing my reading right now! -Marissa

This story should definitely have more reviews; it's amazing! I love how you specifically used the Tradescan Codex, because I remember Giles saying from Season One's "Prophecy Girl" that there's not a prophecy in the codex that hasn't come to pass. So, much of the building tension. It's funny that for a story that's based on Willow, we haven't actually seen her yet. It's good, though, because we get time to see the other characters at work. Amy as one of the white hats kinda threw me the first time I read it, but I never really did like how they made her go bad in the show, so it's nice to see her helping the good guys. Um, let's see, what else (I feel compelled to give you a throrough review, seeing as last time, I barely wrote a sentence.)? Oh! I'm liking this version of Dawn; maturity works on her. Plus she's a smarty. Very cool. :p And Ethan as one of the players in this story, tres bien on that call, too. No doubt he'll bring action and humour. And I'm very interested to see the interaction between Beth and Dawn. Update soon. :)

Author's Response: Well, I use the Tradescan Codex, not the Pergamum Codex from "Prophecy Girl." The connotations of that codex are intended to be brought to mind when I mention the Tradescan Codex, though. I use the Tradescan Codex in the majority of my fics; it's a useful MacGuffin and I like the idea of a single prophetic text which makes the Scoobies lives miserable (by 2020, they all want to burn it but no one can bring themselves to do so). Anyway, thank you!
