Before you were mine

City of Angels

A/N: I'm gonna need reviews to tell me if it's crap or not...hope it isn't...but I'm not too good at writing.
None of the characters are mine, except the teachers and Summer, and I claim no responsibility for them.

"But mom!"
"But nothing, Willow. We're moving and that's final. As soon as all of this...chaos is over."
Sheila Rosenberg walked out of the house, slamming the door loudly. Willow sat down slowly on the couch, head in her hands and cried softly.
"But what about Xander..."
Willow was instinctively looked towards her bedroom as soon as the baby began to cry.
"Summer..." She sighed, and walked to the baby's cot and taking Summer out of it. “Ssh. What’s wrong, babes?” She lifted the baby to her chest, stroking the baby’s week old skin, holding her gently, and unbuttoned her own shirt. She offered her bare breast to the baby, who slowly opened her lips to suckle, Willow supporting her head. Summer finished feeding, and Willow placed her back in the cot, doing up her shirt and taking Summer’s tiny hand. “Alright now?” Summer made a small gurgling noise that said she was, and Willow smiled.

Sheila Rosenberg looked up from the morning newspaper and gave her daughter a stern look as she sat at the table, then half threw the newspaper towards her.
“What did I tell you about going outside without someone with you?”
“Mom, what did you expect me to do? Just sit in here and suffocate?”
“What did I tell you?”
“I know! But I can’t just stay cooped up inside all the time!”
“You can, and you will, until we’ve made the move to L.A!” Sheila screamed. “Is that understood?”
“Yes, mom." Willow replied. Then, just as her dad walked in. “But I really can’t…“
“Don’t you dare answer back to your mother!!!” Ira shouted.
“But dad!”
“Shut up!” He fumed at her, striking out and slapping her face. “Slut.” His face was layered with disgust as he looked down at her from where she was now sitting. On the floor.
Willow just sat and cried, while her father grabbed the newspaper off the table and threw it at her, the pages scattering as it hit the ground. She sobbed as she looked at the picture of herself with Summer, blurred because of the tears in her eyes, as she held the red welt on her face.

The new house seemed so much bigger than their old house, which had been Willow’s home for what felt like forever, but was probably about the same size. It just seemed so…empty. Hollow even. Deserted.
Well, it was at the moment, almost. There was no one there but her and Summer. Thankfully.
I used to always want my parents to be around. Used to feel like I needed them twenty four seven. But I don’t anymore. Not since… God, why does my life have to suck so fucking much? Right. Life’s a bitch, then you die. Maybe I should just make it quicker. Kill myself right here and now, not like I have anything to live for…no. How can I even think like that? I have Summer to live for now. She’s all that keeps me going at the moment. Who’s going to look after her while I’m at school though? After everyone’s forgotten about me and all, and I finally go anyway. I’ll probably have to hire a nanny or something. She looked at the newspaper on the table. When it’s over.
