After Glory affected Tara’s brain, the effects never really wore off.
They actually got worse. Much worse.
She was in a coma, that the doctors said would be irreversible. Willow had visited her every day, since the diagnosis. She prayed non-stop, looked up spells, worried constantly. She started staying in the hospital, not leaving. Her grades started dropping, drastically. Her health, and Tara’s, started declining.
She prayed to the Goddess, desperate.
‘Please Goddess, do something!’
And, as if in response, the lights went out.
“If you will it, then it is done.”
Willow’s eyes opened. She had been in a coma for about a year now. Tara and Kennedy were in chairs at her bedside. Tara lifted her head.
“Willow? Y-you’re awake..”
Kennedy looked up also.
“Will!”
Tara had sensed something was wrong. Desperately. Willow’s vitals started dropping, FAST.
As she flat lined and the doctors rushed in, she saw the shock and worry on Kennedy’s face.
‘Here it is then. My destiny?’ She took a deep breath, ‘Goddess, help me in my endeavor and make my will be done.’
She kissed Willow then, as Willow’s life-force ran out, giving Tara’s own energies to her. It was the only way to truly bring her back safe. And make her happy.
“I love you.” Was the last thing she said.
