The bear was sad.
Alone he sat
With a goldfish bowl
And an edible hat
Nobody loved him
Nobody cared
Fred harassed him
Angel just stared.
Comparisons were made
'Tween the bear and Spike
For both were cute
And blondie-bear like
'Is this why Angel hates me?'
The bear tearfully wondered
'I remind him of Blondie-bear
And all of his blunders?'
The bear flinched with horror
As Fred tore Angel apart
Out went the kidneys
And dried walnut heart.
He'd seen this before
From a boss he did hate -
The inedible cheeseman
Who ate cheese on a plate.
The bear he got angry
He'd serve Fred no more
With a grunt and a snarl
He watched her cut more
'I'll find that ocean'
Fred had declared
Angel screamed loudly
Under Bear's watchful stare.
Dreams are strange things
When you don't really sleep
Where friends perform keyholes
And bears quietly weep.
The bear he did nothing
He watched in dismay.
There's no point in arguing
When everything's grey.
