Luriel sighed, and sat down on her couch, frowning. Buffy was training with her father,Angel, and Willow was working on the spell to open the doors to the other worlds. Lureil blew a wisp of blonde hair out for her eyes, which were identical to Angels, and groaned melo-dramaticly. Willow looked up.
" I'm sorry this is taking so long, but I just want to do it right." Willow explained. Luriel nodded and offered a faint smile.
" It's just, ever since we destroyed the Ulimate Evil, nothings been happening"
" I know, and I know your mom's happy, but it's-"
"-Better this way, I know." Luriel got up, and stretched. She went over and sat down beside Willow.
"Okay, so what have we got so far?"
"Not much, I'm afraid. Just this incantaion. I'm gonna have a quick shower, you keep looking alright?" Willow said. She put the book down on the table. " Just don't read anything out loud, or it will activate the spell." Luriel nodded sheepishly. Willow smiled, and left. Luriel picked it up.
" Okies, we are gonna look..." she said to herself. She flipped through a few pages, and stopped on one. " Hmm, this looks promising. I can't read it, I'll have to sound it out, I guess." She shrugged, and began to speak it aloud.A portal formed above her, but she didn't notice. A breeze picked up, and as she finished the last word, it ripped the book from her hand.
" Hey-Ahhhh!" she cried, as she looked up, and saw a gaping ,black, abyss. " Mom! Dad! Willow!!!!" she screamed. She was lifted into it, and she tried to clutch the coffee table.
" Willow!!!!" she cried.She saw her mother appear at the door way.
" Mom!"
" Luriel!!" Buffy cried. Then, Luriel was gone, along with the portal.
