Spike has a new soul. He says he got it for me. He told me that he was different, that he was a better man now. That I could trust him. But I don't know what to believe any more. He says he loves me and I believe him about that, but is it enough? He's a Vampire. He's supposed to be evil, but all he can do is follow me around making moon eyes. I must admit, I like him too. Though I'm not completely sure it's love though.

He keeps saying it, 'I love you Buffy'. How can I know it's true? How can I know he won't hurt me? He has to show me he can, he has to give me a reason to trust him.
I hope he gives me a reason.

I'm walking towards his crypt. I don't know why. Maybe I believe that he will show me he can be trusted. Just anything no matter how small. Sometimes the most simple things in life are the best. Well here I go, I'm standing at the door and I'm gonna open it.

I smile and sit next to him. I place my hand upon his, he looks up and I glance into his eyes and suddenly I know. Everything will be all right.
