The burning sensation traveling down his asophogus into his stomach, sprang tears in his eyes. Angel didn't seem to think the two fingers of whiskey he had just downed hadn't burned quite enough. So he poured it's twin.
"Is tht working?" Wesley asked from Angel's doorway.
Angel didn't look up "Not sure. Just getting started."
Wesley asked, "May I join you?"
Angel said, "This another bottlein the frig." He pointed with his 3/4th full bottle of whiskey.
"Why open a new bottle?" Wesley asked.
"BecauseI don't feel like sharing. I want to geet
sloberknockered."
"Good Point..... Sloberknockered?"
"Drunk."
"Of course." Wesley took the bottle out, poured a glass, and choked when he threw it back. "Damn." Wesley said rasply. "Strong stuff."
"Yeah, sorry. It's the way I like it." Angel said, slamming back another two glasses.
Fred apeared in the doorway, were Wesley had only a moment ago.
"Who died?" Fred asked,
Wesley looked upon Fred and said, "Harmony's coming to town."
"Who?" Fred asked.
Angel looked up from his chair to Fred. "She's the most evil thing in the world." He slurred his words drunkly.
Cordy was passing in the hall when she heared Angel speak.
"Ok." Cordy said, approaching Angel and taking his whiskey bottle and glass, "That's enough for you big guy."
Angel looked crest-fallen . "but..." he whined.
"No," Cordysaid sternly. "You're stinking drunk. No more!"
"Sloberknockered." Angel muttered.
Cordy took a swig of Angel's whiskey and nearly chocked to death.
"You okay, Cordy?" Wesley asked.
"Yes, I'm fine." Cordy croaked. "Just seeing if drinking really help the pain."
"Well?" Angel asked.
Cordy looked between Wesley and Angel. "It works..."
