Word of the Day 100 Challenge: Spook, gander
Dawn rubbed the bridge of her nose, trying to refocus her eyes. She researched the care and feeding of demons on a daily basis; she wouldn't have thought an essay on the Enigma machine would have been so difficult.
"Let's take a gander, love." Spike read the monitor as her massaged the tension from her shoulders. "Ah... history, I might be able to help. Did I ever tell you Angel was a spook during the war?"
"Really?" Dawn was intrigued, but if she was being honest she was happy for the distraction. "Tell me."
"Well, he still had stupid hair."
