Memories are useless. Just remembrance of past events or incidents whether happy or sad or frightening, either way they are useless. I am one of those people who just gets lost in thought. I sit there with Cordelia rambling on about whatever fashion trend she has just adopted but I never really listen. I think to myself. I think of when I was human. How I was as a child, what screwed me up so much in my teenaged years and that horrible night on my twentieth birthday when I encountered the devil herself. Darla . But then I think to myself, if I had never met Darla, I never would have met Buffy. Buffy is the one thing that takes up the most of my thinking time. I think of the day Whistler introduced me to her when she walked down Hemery steps with such confidance and elegance. That day in Sunnydale when we met in the alley. I wonder if she still has that necklace or if she has thrown it away to spite me. I think of how much more beautiful she looked with every day that passed. I think of the time I told her I love her and she told me the same. Of how much I hurt her and yet she still helped me during the time I needed her the most. And most recently I think of when she came to Los Angeles to visit her Dad and me as well. I think of that lost day. That amazing day when we both had our happiness. I would give my left arm if it meant I could be with her . But yet again back to my original point. Memories are useless. They are just energy users that take up my time and don't help me at all with the future. But who cares. It is all I have left.

"Doyle, I don't know what to do with this." "Well you are human now, so what is it you want?"
Buffy shifted in her bed and was now very uneasy but still very much involved in her dream.
"How am I supposed to go on with my life knowing what we had, what we could have had?" "You won't. No one will know but me."
"How much time?" "Another minute" "Minute! No, no that's not enough time!"
"I'll never forget, I'll never forget, I'll never forget, I'll never forget, I'll never...."
Buffy awoke with a start. She remembered. She remembered that amazing day when she and Angel were hunting the Maura demon and he suddenly appeared in daytime and kissed her she remembered how quickly they were given everything that they ever wanted and also how quickly it was taken away again. She had to go see him. This was just useless. But what would she do there? They would be in the exact same position as when he left. She decided to get Willow's opinion and wait for morning.
"So what do you think Will?"
"You are gonna owe me every cent of your happiness because Giles and I have been having clandestine meetings working on something"
"EWWW! You're having an affair?!?"
"NO!! We made a spell. Can you believe it? It is a rather tricky spell but it can turn a vampire into a human."
"I have to ask how"
"Well Buff, I call on the goddess Leshanna and she enters the vampires soul and rips the demon out of him. And a whole bunch of other not so important stuff"
"Sounds painful."
"Well it is but it works"
"I am so excited I can't believe what a good friend you are. Why did you do it?"
"We could all see that you weren't yourself so we decided to try it . My idea of course and it took only a month."
"I'm gonna go to L.A. You wanna come with?"
"I would love to."

(In L.A.) Cordy:"Angel I swear you better tell me what's on your mind or I'm gonna hurt you...O.K. maybe not but still. Secrets are bad."
"I miss her. A lot. The truth is since prom, not a second has gone by that she hasn't been on my mind. Her smile, her hair, her laughter, her wit, I can't stop thinking about her."
"Well you wanna know what the cat drug in?" and Cordy then Brought Buffy out from behing the door and Angel's heart began to race(in theory). He saw she was holding some papers and he was shocked to see that se looked incredibly nervous. She just walked up to him and said:
"Do you remember that day a few weeks ago when I came here and you were turned into a human and we had a beautiful day of happiness and filled with love?"
Cordelia was stunned. She was sure Buffy was losing her mind but Angel apparently knew what she was talking about.
He said:"I remember"
She put one arm loosely around his neck and one hand on his cheek and looked deep into his eyes, smiled and said.
"So Do I"
