Buffy sat in her room, thinking of her god for saking life. She looks down at her ring.

She stops and starts to cry. She looks down at her cross.

Cut to Buffy walking through cemetary. She stops where Jenny Calender's tombstone was. Buffy kneels on one knee and brushes her hand across the grass.

Cut to Buffy standing by the docks. She walks over to the railing, and runs her hand along it.

Cut to Buffy entering the mansion.

Cut to garden of mansion. Camera pans right to Buffy standing by glass door. She is staring out into the night.

(Flashback to scene in Becoming Part Two)
ANGEL: Buffy? What's going on.
BUFFY: Shhh. It doesn't matter. (Kisses him deeply.)

(Buffy pulls away. Braces herself. Rams the sword through Angel's stomach. Angel's eyes fly open and he looks at her in shock)
ANGEL: Buffy?
(Cut back to the garden, present time.)

(Flashback to Becoming Part Two, this time to the Summers house,)
JOYCE: If you walk out that door, don't come back.
Buffy looks sadly at her mother, then leaves.
(Cut back to garden. Buffy is crying.)

Cut to Buffy sorting Angel's thing. She finds a diary, and begans to read. She starts to cry again.

(Flashback)
Buffy: You read my diary? That is not OK. A diary is like a person's most private possession. You don't even know what I was writing about. Hunk can mean a lot of things, bad things. And, and when said his eyes were penetrating, I meant bulging.
Angel: Buffy...
Buffy: A doesn't even stand for Angel for that matter. It stand for Achmed, a charming foreign exchange student. And that whole fantasy part has nothing to even do with you, at all...
Angel: Your mother moved your diary when she came in to straighten up. I watched her from the closet. I didn't read it, I swear.
Buffy: Oh.

(Flashback) Buffy: I wish we could be regular kids.
Angel: I'll never be a kid.
Buffy: Okay then, a regular kid and her cradle-robbing creature-of-the-night boyfriend.

Cut to Buffy in the ally where she first met Angel.
(Flashback to Welcome to the Hellmouth)
Buffy: Who are you? Angel: Lets just say I'm a friend.
Buffy: Yeah, well maybe I don't need a friend.
Angel: I didn't say I was yours.
Cut to cemetary. Buffy is sitting on the groud leaning her back on a tomb stone. She is hugging her knees, crying.

(Flashback)
Buffy: Do--do you think I chose to be like this? Do you have any idea how lonely it is, or how dangerous? I would love to be upstairs watching TV or gossiping about boys or....GOD even studying! But I have to save the world.Again.
Cut to Buffy sitting on a bench in the park.

(Flashback)
Angel: No weapons...no friends..no hope. Take it all away and what's left? Buffy: ME.
Buffy starts to cry all over again.

(Flashback)

Cut to Buffy on the outskirts of the torn down school.

Angel: I don't accept that.
Buffy: You have to.
Angel: Look... there's gotta be some way we can still see each other.

Cut to Buffy back at home. She is curled up in a ball sobbing.

(Flashback)
Buffy: [Laugh] So, that's it huh? I remember the drill. One slayer dies, the next one's called. I wonder who she is? Will you train her, or will they send someone else? Giles: Buffy...uh...

Buffy: I've got a way around it. I quit.
Angel: It's not that simple.
Buffy: I'm making it that simple. I quit, I resign, I'm fired. You can find someone else from stopping the Master from taking over. Giles: I'm not sure if anyone else can. All the signs indicate...
Buffy: Signs? Read me the signs! Tell me my fortune! You're so useful sitting here with all your books, you're really a lot of help. Giles: I don't suppose I am.
Angel: I know this is hard.

Angel: I bet half the kids down there are already awake. Lying in their beds, sneaking downstairs... waiting for day.
Buffy: Angel please. I need you to get inside. There's only a few minutes left.
Angel: I know. I can smell the sunrise long before it comes.
Buffy: I don't have time to explain this, you'll just have to trust me. That thing that was haunting you...
Angel: It wasn't haunting me. It was showing me.
Buffy: Showing you? Angel: What I am.
Buffy: Were.
Angel: And ever shall be. I wanted to know why I was back, now I do.

Angel: You deserve more. You deserve something outside of demons and darkness. You should be with someone who can take you into the light. Someone who can make love to you.

Cut to Buffy wiping her tear off her face that are only to be replaced by new ones.

Buffy: How did you find me here? Angel: If I was blind I'd see you.
Buffy: Stay with me.
Angel: Forever. That's the whole point. I'll never leave... not even if you kill me.
Cut to Buffy laying on her bed. Wiped out from her tears and not wanting to suffer anymore, takes a knife and slits her wrists. *** Cut to Angel standing over Buffy's grave.
Lyrics: I will remember you. Will you remeber me?
As the sun starts to rise, Angel's tears become more rappid. Soon the hurting would be over.
Lyrics: Don't let your love pass you by.
Angel watches his last sunset as he burts into dust. The hurting stops.
