Author's Notes: Friends were telling me that the story just can't end like that, so I wrote a short little sequel.
Teaser: A sequel to "Nightmares And Graduations"

It had only been an hour since they saw their friends gruesomely ripped apart. But for Xander, Willow, Oz and Cordelia...it felt like days. They watched as the giant serpent crawled down the streets of Sunnydale, devouring people with it's huge jaws. It was not unlike the old Japanese Godzilla movies...only difference is that this wasn't funny.
An hour ago, the four of them were sitting at the graduation ceremony. They were ready for whatever was to come their way. Buffy said she would get them through it alive. Why shouldn't they have believed her? After all, it was the girl that saved their lives more times than they could remember, and the world on numerous occasions. But Buffy was dead; all of their plans had failed. And the chances of them stopping the monster by themselves weren't too big.
They were frozen in their spots. Too scared to even blink, they watched the serpent sliding by like a quick moving train, plowing down anything in it's path. They didn't know what to do. With Giles and Buffy dead, they didn't have a single hope.
Suddenly, the serpent stopped and turned itself around. It brought it's head to the ground, and it's eyes were level with their bodies. It began to laugh, and Cordelia began to scream. Before any of them had time to react, Cordelia was swooped up into his mouth and the creature's glistening white teeth were crunching down on her skin.
Xander stood and watched as the same thing happened to Oz, and then Willow. All he could see was red; the entire world was falling apart in front of his eyes. He couldn't tell left from right or up from down. Then he felt the monster's hot breath in his face...and didn't really care anymore. He felt teeth stabbing his body...and then nothing.
Xander woke up screaming. He was covered in sweat and his throat was on fire. Willow, Oz and Cordelia were sitting across from him, watching him with worry.
"Bad dream?" Oz asked.
Xander weakly nodded his head.
"Yeah, the big mamma of all nightmares."
Willow looked at her watch.
"20 minutes until graduation," she said, "are you guys ready?"
"Do we have a choice?" Xander said.
"Not really."
"Well then, I guess I'm ready."
