"Okay, so that's everyone on my list done!" Xander smirked, tossing a white plastic bag over his shoulder.

Willow and Buffy exchanged a dubious look.

"Um. Xander?" Buffy broached the subject tentatively, "You bought ALL your presents in there?"

The boy beamed. "Yup. Like I do every year." Tugging a baseball cap onto his head, he smiled broadly. "I'm done, we can go home now."

"No we can't, Xander." Willow murmured, pulling a notepad out of her pocket. "You may be done with your Christmas shopping, and I know I'm eagerly looking forward to my Thirteenth Annual Christmas pair of mittens, but you promised to go shopping WITH us."

"Mittens?" Buffy asked incredulously. "He buys you mittens every year?"

Willow shook her head in denial. "No, he doesn't." Xander beamed as she spoke, the smile fading as she continued. "He buys EVERYONE a pair of mittens, every year. Wait and see!"

"Oh come on, Will...I don't buy EVERYONE a pair of mittens."

Willow rolled her eyes, "Yeah, you buy your Dad gloves. What WAS I thinking?" She stuffed her pen back into her pocket, and reached for her wallet. Frowning into the contents, she began to quickly count.

"Who do you have left to buy for, Willow?" Buffy asked, picking up her arsenal of bags. "I've got my Dad left, and I was thinking of sending Snyder a present. I haven't decided, though, between Arsenic, or atomic waste."

"Hmmm? That's nice. I just have to buy Oz a G-string for Christmas." Willow jiggled the wallet a bit, scattering the coins a bit to see if she'd missed any.

She didn't miss the coinage, but did miss the sound of her friends bags all collectively hitting the floor with a thud.

"A WHAT!?!?" Xander bellowed. "You're getting him a WHAT? You've only known him a month...isn't that a little overly personal? I mean, Willow...you don't know much about the guy...he could be a werewolf, or a...a.... Buffy, help me out here? What else could he be?"

Buffy however, was busy trying to pick her jaw up off the floor. Each time she tried to vocalize anything, a tiny squeak came out.

Willow shot them both a puzzled look. Turning around to face them, she tucked both hands on her hips. "I beg your pardon? What's so personal about a G-string? And it's, at least, something Oz wants. He said as much."

"I BET he did!" Xander fumed. In his mind, he could already see the exchange of Christmas presents between Oz and Willow. And it made his blood boil.

Still confused by Xander's attitude, Willow sighed, and let the subject drop. "Whatever, Xander. I'll just go buy it now, and that's done with."

Xander and Buffy both made a lovely squawking sound. Willow rolled her eyes, but kept right on moving. The shop Oz had seen the string in, and lusted after in front of her, was on the lower floor of the plaza. Dodging the hustling and bustling of shoppers, she made her way for the escalators.

Behind her, several feet back, Xander and Buffy were fighting to catch up to their friend. Loaded down as Buffy was, it was all she could do to not slug the people in her way with the various parcels.

Xander was busy trying to not hurl as his mind graphically detailed the implications of Willow's casual shopping list. A G-string. His sweet, innocent, pure, virginal Willow had said that so...so...nonchalantly. His mind shuddered.

"She's not serious, is she?" He muttered to the panting Slayer beside him. "I mean, it's a joke, right?"

Buffy shook her head, throwing her left arm and its burden up high as a small child nearly ran into her. "No, Xander. Willow was pretty serious, and we are heading in the right direction of Victoria's Secrets."

"Oh God." Xander whimpered. "I can't do this! I can't watch my best friend buy something so...so..."

"Sexy?" Buffy offered helpfully.

"Indecent." He finished resolutely, shooting a firm 'Willow is not to be thought of as sexy!' glare.

Buffy hid a small smile. Willow was well out of sight, most likely already in the store finding her purchase. "What's so indecent about it? It's not like she's going to model it for you!"

He whimpered again, his mind goggling over the mere thought. "I should hope not!" He squeaked, finally.

"Prude." Buffy laughed. Stopping at the glassed wall to the store, she set the bags down, and sighed in relief. "I can't believe we didn't bring a car! I don't know HOW I'm going to get all of these on the bus."

"Willow won't have much of a problem getting her package on the bus." Xander muttered, steadily refusing to look into the store. He could mentally picture Willow dropping a mere scrap of satin on the counter, and paying for it. Would she get a gift box? Or just wear it and let Oz open....

"GAH!" He jumped as a hand touched his shoulder from behind.

Willow stared up into his startled face. "What? Why are you two over here? The music store is over there!"

Xander and Buffy both facefaulted. "Music store?"

"Of course!" Willow chirped. "Where else did you think I'd find a new G-string for Oz's guitar?"
