This poem was inspired by the episode Angel. The relationship between Sire and fledgling vampire is a remarkable one.This is just my take on that.

As the world around you fell,
And you plummeted to Hell,
Misery is commen-place, hollow dreams are Savoire-Faire.
Do you trust your soul to him who you once called your friend?
Betrayal is a bitter pill that sometimes never ends.
The sands of time have stopped for you,
whilst roses wilt and die.
Freinds of this world have since passed through,
as tears of blood fall from your eyes.
Death's womb has sheilded you from dawn's redeeming light,
Mortal lust has wakened you into eternal night.
