As the wind blows softly though the trees
I hear you call my name
It reminds me of a love long lost
A love never meant to be
As I wonder though this life
Without you by myside
I wonder hat would have happened
If our love hadn't been lost
But you see we weren't meant to be
Or you would still be by my side
God has called you and you have flown
To reach new place to call home
So as I walk though life without my love
I hear the wind whisper my name
And it reminds me of a love long lost
A love never meant to be
