She knew she wasn't a normal girl.
They knew it when she came into this world.
Fate dealt her hand.
Her life was preplanned.
No exchanging what destiny dealt her.
No one will know her thoughts and her fears.
She can't share her life with anyone.
When you're the Chosen, you stand alone.
She'll see so much in so few years.
But its the nights that will age her.
She probably won't see twenty-one.
Can't live it up while she is here.
Duty first. Maybe a life later.
She gets unlikely help from the shadows.
Her unofficial Watcher. Assistance in a pinch.
But when it's all on the line, it's you and you alone.
Yes, she's the Slayer.
Got to play rough.
She's the Chosen One.
No time for love.
She's the Slayer.
This isn't kids stuff.
She's Chosen
Though she's only seventeen.
So many faces.
From daughter to a demon killer.
Gotta keep up the charade.
Gotta stay on top of her game.
A careless Slayer is a dead Slayer.
You'll never know what you'll face in the night.
Retirement's not an option.
There's no ticket to Disneyland.
Face the Master and die.
Death by a demon hand.
A prophecy come and gone.
Not even death set her free.
