I own nothing, well nothing Buffy related anyway, The charecters are property of Joss, Mutant Enemy( the little Grr..Argh guy at the end of the show) the WB and anyone else who'll claim em. (I'll take Angel though, except Buffy might not like that)
Authors note: This poem is from Buffy's POV, It really has nothing much to do with the show, but the Idea struck me so I wrote it. Hope it doesn't totally suck... Feedback would be immensely appreciated. Thanx! now on with the Poem..

Sometimes I wonder why.
Why do I do what I do?
People can be so cruel, mean, and hurtful.
Yet every night I go out, while they sleep,
and make sure that they wake again.
Giles would say it's my duty, my responsibility,
but that only goes so far.
Willow would say it's because I care about people,
but I know that isn't quite it either.
Xander would say it's just who I am,
he's closer but still I know thats not quite it.
None of them really know why,
but deep down I do, Iknow.
Do you want to know, I'll tell you,
It's them, all of them.
Willow, Giles, Xander, Cordelia,
Oz, Angel, Mom, Dad,
They are my reasons.
They help me,
they keep me sane,
they care about me,
they fight beside me.
But most importantly,
They love me.
They all in their own way love me,
Weather as a friend,
or as a daughter,
or as a girlfriend,
or even as a Slayer.
Sometimes I wonder why.
Why do I do what I do?
