I own absolutely nothing! Well at least nothing Buffy related, except my poems and stories. If you want to use them Please just ask first. Like I said I have nothing to do with the show and stuff. Joss, Mutant enemy (the little grrr-argh guy at the end of the show) and the WB own them.

When I was small
my mother read me
what all mothers
read to their daughters.
She read me fairy tales,
stories of magic, princes and princesses,
of knights and dragons,
of kings and kingdoms.
In those stories,
the monsters and bad guys,
always lose.
The good guysalways win.
Like Giles said,
No one ever dies,
and everyone lives happily ever after.
It always goes like that....
In fairy tales.
In reality things get more complicated.
People die every day,
sometimes the good guys don't win,
and you almost never
live happily ever after.
I should know, I'm the S;ayer.
In my reality there is no Prince Charming,
Cinderellas don't exist.
I've never met,
a Knight in shining armor.
The closest I get,
is a vampire in black leather.
When I was little,
I believed in fairy tales.
Then I grew up,
and found out,
that the monsters are real,
but sometimes the heros aren't.
Now I'm not so little,
and I don't believe in fairy tales anymore.
