Buffy watched as Spike got shot with arrows. Carefully she crawled over to him and toppled him over.
“Hey!” He yelled.
“Shut up,” she said, untying him and laying him on the floor carefully. “Don’t move,” she said.
“Not a problem, Slayer,” Spike groaned.
Spike watched as Buffy fought the Indian and soon the blood loss made him pass out.
Some while later, Spike woke to screaming.
“You have no right!” Buffy screamed.
“Could you stop yelling?” Spike groaned.
Buffy scowled at Angel and grabbed an ice back. She went over and sat next to Spike. She lifted his head and put the ice pack under it. “You’re gunna have a head ache for a while but your puncture wounds should be gone in a few days,” she said. “Do you need anything?”
“Something to eat would be nice,” Spike whispered.
Buffy got up and went to fix him a mug of blood.
“Buffy what is going on?” Angel asked.
Buffy brought Spike his blood and slipped the straw into his mouth.
Spike drank it slowly and sighed when he finished. “Thanks, Slayer.”
“You’re lucky you passed out,” she said.
“Why?” Spike asked.
“I made a bear,” Buffy said, sheepishly.
“A bear?” Spike asked.
“Yeah, but I killed it,” Buffy said.
Spike rolled his eyes. “You’re so strange,” he said, but smiled.
“So are you,” Buffy said. “Get some sleep.”
Spike slipped into sleep easily and Buffy looked at Angel. “You need to go home,” she said. “You’re not welcome here. You left,” Buffy said.
“Buffy…” Angel said.
“No,” Buffy said. “You have no idea what I’ve been through. Spike is hurt and he’s not dangerous.” She sighed and looked at the blonde then the broody. “You need to go home,” she said.
Angel looked at Buffy as she sat next to Spike but left.
A few hours later, Spike stirred. He opened his yes and the pain in his skull was gone. He looked down at Buffy who was sleeping with her head on his stomach. He smiled and stroked her hair.
Giles came downstairs and paused when he saw Spike. He shook his head and went back upstairs.
Some while later, Buffy stirred. She opened her eyes and felt Spike’s stroking her hair. “I see you’re feeling better,” she said.
“Yeah. You’re gunna have a cramp in your back though,” Spike said, as she picked her head up.
Buffy pushed herself to her feet and sighed. “Yeah, you’re right,” she reached behind the couch and handed him a shirt. “Here. You can put this on,” she said, as Spike pushed himself up.
Spike took the shirt from her. “Thanks Pet,” he said.
Buffy smiled and made him more blood as he got dressed.
She handed him breakfast and sat next to him on the couch. “We have to talk,” she said.
Spike drained his blood and looked at her. “What do you wanna know?” He asked.
“Start from the beginning and tell me everything,” Buffy said, making herself comfortable.
“Well, I was watching you fight a vampire…” Spike began.
About an hour later, Spike finished his story.
“So you can hurt any living person?” Buffy asked.
Spike nodded.
“Well, I’ll see what I can do. Those army guys have no idea who they are dealing with. I’ll figure something out,” she said. “I’ll try to get whatever is in your head out. But if you kill someone, I’ll have to kill you.”
“I’ll behave,” Spike said, softly.
“Good,” Buffy said.
