Temperal and reality slipping events. . .a review.
Leading up to the temporal situation:
Shadowmage screams in pain as the phsysic attack of the demons tore into her. She could feel that her teacher couldn’t get the Phoenix to accept him so she sent some of her own power into him in order to help him. Lisa felt some of her abilities mingle with him and she blacked out from the Demon physic attack just as she felt the stange three way vision: Her own, her teachers, and the Phoenix’s. . . This along with the time traveling incidents causes problems with the space/time/reality continunum.
The Shadow acedemy of the Dark Jedi explode in orbit around Yavin Four. Without anyone knowing that a couple dozen lightsabers disappeared into a temporal/spacial rift.
One year afterwards, Jacen, Jaina Solo and Tenel Ka disappear in the temporal/spacial rift, but not to the same place.
France 1545
It is nightime and the supernatural is out to play. A few vampires kill the unwary in this part of France and most people call it cursed. One hundred year old vampire in particular is practicing a lot more than the average. He has found that he has certain abilities that others do not have. So while most vampires kill all night long, he manages to find human prey by midnight and practices the rest of the night. The Master doesn’t approve much but the young vampire only toes the line slightly. He finds a strange moss covered box with cylinder objects in it. He finds the opening and carefully points the hollow end away from him. Who knows what could come out. He presses above the grip and a column of steady light comes out a few feet. He swings it at a tree and it doesn’t even slow down while cutting through it. He grins maniacally and hides his prize except for one which he keeps for himself.
These are all the temporal events leading up to this story.
Sunnydale: Two weeks after the end of Terminator in Sunnydale.
A young woman is dancing almost wildly by herself at the Bronze. Her red hair bounces slightly as she writhes with the sound of a fast paced dance. She is plainly enjoying herself a slightly older man walks up to her and offers to buy a drink. They sit down and talk a little bit before walking out into the night.
“Do you mind if I kiss you?”
“No, not at all,” He kisses her and his face is over her shoulder. She doesn’t notice when his face changes from his human one to a vampire visage. He looks back at her for the pleasure of her fear when she see’s his face. When he looks at her, he sees that she has the unmistakable ‘Game’ face that all vampires have when they get angry.
“You idiot, you can’t even tell a pathetic human from one of your own. I should stake your ass right now.” She pauses for a minute and says, “I think I will.” And before he can do anything, she jabs a stake into his heart. The vampire disintigrates into dust and the after her face changes back to normal, the girl walks out of the alley.
“You got one already. Not bad, Kelly.” That’s San Salvador, Immortal, former assassin, and vampire hunter.
“Nice moves.” Buffy Summers, The Vampire Slayer.
“Set him up and dusted him away.” Kelly crows happily. “Is that all?”
“There usually more, like right now.” Buffy says as two more vampires approach them.
“Never a dull moment, huh.” Kelly rushes forward with a graceful motion. Buffy got another and San waits back as backup and lookout for more vampires. Kelly was having a little trouble with her vampire but not much. Being a vampire/immortal hybrid, and the vampire that made her was a strong one like Angelus, she was strong, powerful and the vampire that was fighting her soon lost by a stake through the heart. Buffy was dealing with the second vampire in her Slayer fashion. San punches the vampire with a quick uppercut and Buffy stakes it quickly after that.
All three of them walk away from the Bronze and toward another vampire hangout, the park. One would be amazed at the number of unwary people who walk through the park expecting safety from because of the small size of the town and end up as a vampire’s snack. If tonights vampire hunters had stayed around for fifteen more minutes, they would have gotten a show that would have amazed them. A bright white vortex forms seamily in a wall and a short individual steps out. 5’4” if wearing low heels, she is a slight, pale person that feels of incredible power. She stands up and walks out of the alley with two huge dogs that came out of the vortex with her. After she walks out of the alley, the vortex closes up and things are like it was never there.
(What is going on? Something feels different here. I need to get to a motel for the night.) With a flash of light and fire she and her dogs disappear from the alley to in front of the only Motel 6 in Sunnydale. All she leaves behind is a strange smell of ozone and a bit of sulfur.
(It can’t be. I actually teleported. The only one who could teleport is my teacher. What has happened to me? Well, since I’m at a motel, I better get a room for a couple of days until I can figure out where I am.) The woman walks into the motel and carefully takes her sunglasses off. She rings the bell at the front desk and soon a portly man walks out. “May I have a room for a couple of days?”
“There should be no problem with that. That will be 40 dollars a night.” He leaned back and waits for the money.
But Lisa, the young woman in front of him, doesn’t have enough money on her. She looks carefully into the guy’s eyes. Her eyes are a dark brown that it is nearly a black color. They look like bottomless pits in which he might drown in. “You would like to give the room for free through, wouldn’t you?”
“Yes.” The man says in a dazed voice.
“And you don’t mind that my dogs are going to be in my room with me, do you?”
“No. Not at all.”
“Please hand me my key.” He hands her the key to the room. “Please remember that you got the money from me instead of this conversation, will you?”
“Yes I will.” He remains in a trance for a few minutes before going back to his T.V. viewing. Just an average night for him.
*Later that Night*
A vampire convoy drives into Sunnydale. A jeep in front, a limo in the middle and another jeep behind it. In the limo, a vampire sits there wearing a simple black robes that are similar to a monks. An ominous black cylinder-shaped object is attached to his belt clip and he smiles slightly when he feels the Hellmouth.
“Finally my students, the power of the Hellmouth and its riches are ours,” Cynis says.
*The Next Night*
Buffy and her friends have gotten into a routine with San and Kelly when dealing with vampire hunting. Tonight Buffy and San are in the park and moving toward the cemetary with the patrol and Kelly and the Slayerettes are in the Bronze. They notice a small and slender pale woman with raven black hair, black leather, and dark sunglasses dancing seductively with a senior from Sunnydale High School. She leads him out of the Bronze with a graceful motion in which little seems to be actual walking. The young woman and man walk outside and into the shadows.
“Do you like the way I am looking tonight?” she asked softly.
“I do like the way you look.”
“That’s good.” When he leans over, she kisses him with a ravaging motion that is almost painful for both of them. She moves her lips down his chin and unto his neck. She says softly, “Calm,” and he just stands there as she kisses his neck. Small cat-like fangs grow from her nomal canines as she nibbles his neck lightly. He gasps with pleasure as she grazes his skin. She licks the blood that wells up slightly. She smiles with the pleasure of tasting blood and kisses his neck deeper, taking a little bit more. After a minute, she starts feeling what he is like. Even though she can’t read thoughts of humans, she can feel certain things when she sips their blood. (This one has a lot of potential for psychic abilities.) She uses her abilities to push the flesh back together so it will heal easily. It might bruise for a day, but it will heal quickly.
“Am I interrupting something?” A semi-loud voice shouts out into her darkness. Kelly stands about 6 feet away and holding a stake.
“I’ll see you later, Richard.” Lisa says privately.
“We definitely will, Lisa.” He walks off with a slightly dazed smile on his lips.
“Now what is the problem with you, little girl?” Lisa turns to face Kelly. Her fangs are extended and her skin looks paler than it did before. “And frankly, who are you?”
Kelly rushes as Lisa with her vampire quick speed. Lisa raises her fist and a telekinetic push slams Kelly back into a wall. Kelly’s ‘Game Face’ forms.
“Leave me alone, whomever and whatever you are.” Lisa senses the presence of another person attacking her from the rear. A sword bounces of her TK shield and numbs San’s hand. Buffy’s wooden stake splinters against Lisa’s shield. Lisa turns and uses her telekinesis to throw the Slayer against the wall. She then turns toward San and see something she can’t believe it. “Maria, is that you?” Then she notices the woman’s green eyes and the posture. (She looks so much like Maria. What is going on here?) “I don’t know what is going on here, but I’m going to find out one way or another.” Lisa sends out a pulse of pure telekinetic power outward from herself that throws Kelly, San, and Buffy back. When they get up, Lisa is gone and all that is left of her presence is a slight smell of ozone and sulfur.
“Buffy, as a more experienced person when dealing with the supernatural things, have you ever felt anything like that?” San sounds almost frightened.
“No. It felt like hell itself unleashed.” Buffy sounded shaken too.
“You know that in this town, that might be literal.” Kelly says from a downed positon. San helps her up slowly.
“We better talk to Giles. This could be very, very bad.”
-At the Motel-
Lisa appears at her motel room with a flash of light. She has a major headache and decides to lay down for a few hours. When she gets up, her dogs whine hungrily as she approaches them. “I’m sorry puppies, I’ll get you some food.” She gets forty dollars from her bag and walks to a nearby grocery store. She picks up a couple of steaks and ten pounds of dog food. Lisa pays for it and walks out of the store. It is a half moon night and there is adaquate lighting. She notices some people following her about halfway back to her room.
“I’m tired of people following me around. Show yourselves, now.” Two people walk out of the darkness. “If you attack me, you will be very sorry.” One made the mistake of doing so. Lisa is angry enough to use a little more than the normal amount of telekinesis to fling it away. It impacts with the ground about fifty feet away. Lisa’s small catlike fangs peek out from between her lips.
“Leave me alone, I’m tired of people attacking me. First those damn women at that club and now you assholes. I’m going to start frying anyone who bothers me from now on.”
The vampire still standing has a reasonable amount of intelligence. If he figures that the women were the Slayer and some of her friends and this person is likely the one he heard about an hour ago. Whoever and whatever this person is, she has power and might help them against the Slayer if he puts the wording right.
“Some of us had seen you tonight in action against those killers. We made sure that your boyfriend is safe so you can get him back.” Which is true in a way, they had taken the guy and kept him human as insurance against the threat that this woman could represent to vampires.
Lisa’s eyes narrow in a suspicious way but they can’t see that because of her sunglasses. She knows that they are lying about something but for Richard, she’ll go along with them for a while. “I’ve got to get a few things from my motel room. Do you mind if I get them?”
“No, not at all.” Lisa walks back up to the motel and goes into her room. She puts the steaks on the floor and the dogs have eaten it all by the time she has changed her clothes.
“Come on mutts, it’s time to go meet the boss of these guys.” Lisa leaves the motel room with the dogs slightly ahead of her. The two vampires meet up with her a short distance from the motel room.
“Where do we go from here?” Lisa asks them.
“Just follow us.” (No problem with that.) Lisa thinks.
*Later in the park*
Three vampires are walking around the park with a casual pace looking for unwary people. A limo and two jeeps pull up and two vampires climb out. Cynis opens the limos window and says, “Take care of them.” A minute later, there are three piles of dust and the two vampires climb back into the limo. “That’s a good start.”
