Whatever happened to Phantom Dennis?
She understood.
There were no words, no communication that had to be spoken. She saw all with utter clarity in a moment. And she did not even think to hesitate.
She understood.
But she had one simple request in return.
They granted it easily, feeling great pleasure in the nature of her wish. As she left them they congratulated themselves on their excellent choice.
Such a wonderful choice.

And she was there. After all these months of waiting she was back again. He felt wave after wave of euphoria surge through him, scarcely able to believe his eyes. It was only when she spoke that he could truly allow himself to believe that she was real.
"I love you Dennis. And I know you love me, it's your love for me that keeps you here. But you have to move on now, your time's done. You should rest. Make peace with your mom. I'll see you again some day, I promise"
He decided.
It was all that was necessary.
Cordelia blew him one last kiss as the white light began to envelop him and he passed over to the afterlife.
In silence he found the greatest passion of all.
