Buffy came out of the elevator and into the Wolfram and Hart lobby.
Spike looked up and he stood when he saw her.
Buffy looked at Spike and her breath caught in her throat.
Spike slowly walked toward her and stopped in front of her. “Buffy?”
Tears slid down her face as she let his arms encircle her. “I missed you so much,” she whispered.
Spike’s arms tightened. “I missed you too, Pet,” he said, kissing her hair.
Buffy pulled away a little. “How and when?”
“A while and I don’t know who,” he said, brushing her hair out of her face.
Angel came out of his office. “Spike, you wanna.. Buffy?”
“Hi Angel,” Buffy said, peeking over Spike’s shoulder.
“What are you doing here?” Angel asked, going toward her.
“Who’s Illyria?” Buffy asked.
Spike and Angel’s faces hardened. “Lets talk in my office,” he said.
In Angel’s office, Spike paced as Angel told Buffy what happened.
“Well, Willow’s on her way. We can try magic.” She looked over at Spike. “We’ve had plenty of experience with this,” she said, giving him a small smile.
Spike smiled back and looked up at Angel. “She’s right. Willow’s our best shot,” he said.
Angel leaned back and ran a hand over his face. “We’re losing everyone,” he whispered.
Spike went over and leaned on the desk. “Peaches, if you don’t snap out of it right now, we’re gunna have a problem,” Spike said.
Angel looked at Spike. “You’re right. Focus. Actually, I need some sleep and so do the two of you,” Angel said, standing.
He pulled a key out of his desk. “Here. It’s the key to your new place. Up 3 floors, 17C,” he said, going toward the elevator.
“Thanks,” Spike said. “Coming Pet?”
Buffy nodded.
About an hour later, Spike and Buffy were snuggled on Spike’s bed.
“Spike, I missed you so much,” Buffy whispered.
“I missed you, too, Pet,” Spike said, kissing her hair.
Buffy propped herself up and kissed him softly. “I love you,” she said.
“I love you too,” Spike said, kissing her.
Buffy moved on top of him and they began removing each other’s clothes.
