Greetings. Axel here.
I just wanted to take the time, to say thank you to everyone who has read my work (Side
note, I always try to return review, but am a little behind, so bare with me) I've been here
for about a year now, and am happy with the success I've had.
Which brings me to my point.
I've always had a good imagination, and wanted to do something creative. In fact In fact I've
always had stories going through my head, that I though where good, but I never tried to
write them down. Partly because I wasn't a great speller, as I'm sure people have noticed.
And because everyone in my family always told me it was a waste of time, and I should
just get a job, and get that foolishness out of my head, and get a job. So I did. But I
still wanted to do it, over the years. Then I happened on this site, and since I was a fan,
I read some of the stories, and there are some good writers here (And I'm not just saying
that) And I got to thinking, maybe I could try writing something here. If it sucked who
cares, they don't know me, from Adam.
So I decide to try writing just one story.And once I started, the idea's just kept coming.
And the rest is history.
Now I wasn't a great writer, from the technical side (Spelling, and much) But if you look at
some of my early work, and later work, I've made a lot of improvement. (Not that I'm prefect,
but better.)
So my point is this, I wrote these stories to see if I was any good, and get some feedback
which has been better than I though. And if it went well, I could try writing original work.
So now after all this time, I'm finally beginning my first original. Well, mostly.
I sort of (Cough) Borrows the mutant concept from X-men (I suck) But everything else
as far as characters, and plot, is mine.
Now I know there little chance it will ever be published, and even less chance it will
make me famous, but that's not the point. I just want to make a good story, and Thanks to
all of you, I think I can. Of coarse I'll never be able to post it here, since it has nothing to do,
with Buffy. But I just wanted to say thank you for your reviews. Especially to Beer Good,
Timan, Wonka, Redmoon, and Sinister, as they have supported me the most. But I'm
grateful to anyone that's even given me one review. (Except the really mean ones. And I'm not
talking about constructive criticism, just mean. But they've been few, and far between).
So can I do a good story, with it being about someone else's characters, I guess I'll find out.
