The window
Sadly she sat
Looking at all the people below
Watching them
Watching her life pass her by
Wondering
Wanting
What it was like
To be like them
Without fear
Without doubt
But still she sits
Unable to move
She stares out the window
Afraid to go out
Hoping for someone
Praying for a saviour
To come and get her out
To take her by the hand
Show her
There was nothing to be scared of
Deep down she knew
She was stuck
A captive of her own mind
And so she remained
Motionless
