I stand there with tears streaming down my face. I'm weeping for joy of course. My Angel, come back to me? He's crying too, his face preesed against the front of my shirt. His arms are gripped tightly around my waist and my legs.
I push a little out of his tight embrace and fall to my knees too. I put my arms around his neck and press my forehead against his.
"Angel?" I whiper. "Is it really you?"
angel nods. "Buffy- of god, I missed you so much. I'm so sorry."
"Shh...it's okay. I missed you too. I dreamt of you every night. I can't believe you came back to me."
Angel leans forward and kisses me. I kiss him back and for one moment I forget all about everything else. all I can think of is that my Angel finally came back to me. He fought his way out of hell after hundreds of years of torture to be with me. he really is my one true love, my soulmate.
"I love you," I whisper.
"I love you." Angel hugs me tightly- a little too tight, almost as if he's afraid to lose me again. He pulls back after a while and looks at me. "You're still so beautiful." He kisses my forehead, then stands up, pulling me with him.
Angel stumbles a little. I put my arms around him to steady him.
"Are you okay?"
Yeah. Just got a little dizzy."
"You're still weak. Come on, I'll take you back to your apartment." I lead him towards the door.

We walk into Angel's apartment- wow, I haven't been here in such a long time -and I lead him over to the bed. He lays down.
He looks up at me sitting beside him and smiles painfully. he reaches up one hand and cups my cheek. I lean down and kiss him softly. I lay my head againgst his chest. Suddenly I feel tired. Before I know it, I'm falling asleep in Angel's arms- which is where I belong. Forever. Our love is eternal.
