Dawn knocked on Buffy’s door. “Buffy?”
“Dawnie, I’m tired. Please go away,” Buffy said.
Dawn opened to door. “It’s Spike.”
Buffy turned over. “Is he okay?” She asked, concerned.
“He’s having nightmares. He’s in the living room and he’s very upset. He keeps saying your name,” Dawn said, softly.
“Let him come up,” Buffy said, sitting up.
Dawn left the room and a few minutes later, a trembling Spike came to her doorway.
Buffy frowned. “Come ‘ere,” Spike said.
Spike hesitantly came toward her. “Buffy…”
“It’s okay,” Buffy said, lifting the edge of her comforter. “You can stay with me.”
Spike slid in the bed next to her and into her arms.
Buffy kissed his hair. “Relax, you’re gunna be okay,” she said.
“I cant eat and I cant sleep,” Spike whimpered.
Buffy hugged him tightly. “Shhh. Lets focus on sleeping right now,” she said.
Spike nodded and drifted to sleep in her arms and she wasn’t far behind.
