AUTHOR'S NOTE:This takes place somewhere inbetween B,B,B and Passion so Ms.Calender is still alive.

Outside of a club called The Bronze.Nobody is around except the bouncer and a few people leaving the club.
EXT.DARK ALLEY-NIGHT
ANGEL is hiding in the shadows watching WILLOW and XANDER leave the club.
ANGEL
(slowly and in a low voice)

FBI Headquarters
INT:ASSISTANT DIRECTOR WALTER SKINNER'S OFFICE-MORNING
Special Agents FOX MULDER and DANA SCULLY sit across from WALTER SKINNER.A desk is in between then.
SKINNER
Agent Mulder,I have considered your request and have decided that I will grant it.Tomorrow morning you and Agent Scully will go to Sunnydale California to investigate the murders.
FADE OUT
FADE IN:
A high school library.The only person in it is the librarian RUPERT GILES.
INT.SUNNYDALE HIGH LIBRARY-MORNING
BUFFY,XANDER and WILLOW walk in.GILES is under a table picking up some books that fell there.He doesn't see the teens.
XANDER
(loudly and energeticaly)
Hey,G-Man!
GILES' head hits the table
GILES
(annoyance in his voice)
Xander,how many times have I told you not to call me that?
XANDER pretends to think about it
XANDER
Two million this month.
BUFFY
(said more as a statement than a question)
So Giles,any achient prophecies I gotta know about.
GILES
No,um,none at all,but,uh,I do think you should watch out for Angel.It,um,it seems that this is around the time he,um,well drove Drusilla mad.
WILLOW
Giles,I found something outside my house.
WILLOW hands GILES a Claddugh Ring
BUFFY
(quietly)
It's Angel's
WILLOW
(with wide eyes)
Why would it be outside my window...
GILES
Oh,oh dear,I,I think Angel is going to try to do to you what he did to Drusilla.(pause)He will try to kill all your family and friends,everyone that is close to you.(pause)He will try to drive you mad,(pause)then he will kill you.
FADE OUT
FADE IN:
An old abandoned warehouse.A dining table with chairs are in the middle.
INT.WAREHOUSE-AFTERNOON
Angel,Dru and Spike(in a wheelchair) are in the warehouse.
ANGEL
(laughing)
Oh,I wish I saw the look on Buffy's face when she saw that ring.
SPIKE
(everything after the comma said in angry voice)
This is all well and good mate,but why don't you just kill the bloody Slayer!
ANGEL
Calm down Meals on Wheels.Don't get so excited.
DRUSILLA
Angel wants to make her hurt before he kills her.
ANGEL
Maybe I'll bring you one of her buddies for dinner tonight,Spike.
FADE OUT
FADE IN:
The Bronze is dark and crowded.Everywhere people are dancing and sitting at tables talking.
INT.THE BRONZE-NIGHT
WILLOW,BUFFY,XANDER and CORDELIA are sitting at a table.
XANDER
Which one of my good buddies is going to get me a soda?
The girls just look at him.
XANDER
OK,OK.I'll get it myself.
XANDER gets up from the table.
WILLOW
I'll be right back.I see Oz.
WILLOW gets up from the table.
CORDELIA
I'm going to go tell Xander to get me a soda too.
CORDELIA gets up from the table.
ANGEL comes up behind BUFFY.BUFFY doesn't see him.
ANGEL
(uses an almost comical voice)
Buffy,Buffy,Buffy.When are you ever going to learn not to let your friends go off by themselves at night?
BUFFY jumped at the sound of his voice.
BUFFY
(angry)
Angel!!!
ANGEL
That's my name.
BUFFY
Why are you here?!
ANGEL
To have some fun.I mean it's a free club.Not like you could keep me out.
BUFFY
I mean,I thought you would be out ruining someone's life.
ANGEL
I am.Yours.
BUFFY
(hesitantly)
What do you mean.
ANGEL
You'll see.
ANGEL disapears into the crowd.
BUFFY sits there thinking.Her eyes widen when she realizes what ANGEL meant.
BUFFY
Oh no!
BUFFY runs from the table in the direction WILLOW took.
FADE OUT
FADE IN:
The Bronze that same night.
INT.THE BRONZE
CORDELIA walks back to the table and sees BUFFY isn't there.She gets up to walk from the table when HARMONY walks up to her.
HARMONY
(spacy)
Like Cordelia,what's the deal with this Xander Harris guy and his loser friends.
CORDELIA pretends not to hear her and walks away.All of a sudden someone grabs her shoulder.She spins around.
CORDELIA
What do you want Harmony..............
CORDELIA'S voice trails off as she sees who is in front of her.It is ANGEL.
ANGEL
(meancely)
Hi Cordy.We're going for a little ride.
FADE OUT
FADE IN:
A busy airport.
INT.SUNNYDALE AIRLINES-MORNING
Agents Mulder and Scully enter.
SCULLY
Mulder.Exactly why did you want to do this case so badly.
MULDER
I knew you would ask that sooner or later.There are a few reasons.The Spanish first settled here and called it Boca Del Inferno.
SCULLY
What are the other reasons?
MULDER
The murders here seem to be done by vampires.
SCULLY
There is no such thing as vampires,Mulder......
FADE OUT
FADE IN:
The library is quiet.The only sounds heard are the rustling of pages as GILES turns them andthe clicking of computer keys as WILLOW types.
INT.SUNNYDALE HIGH LIBRARY-AFTERNOON
BUFFY and XANDER walk in.
XANDER
Has anyone seen Cordelia?
WILLOW
I haven't seen her since I went to dance with Oz.
BUFFY
Maybe she left before we did last night.I'm sure we'll see her today.
FADE OUT
FADE IN:
The abandoned warehouse has very little light in it.
INT.WAREHOUSE-EVENING
DRUSILLA,SPIKE and ANGEL are all in the warehouse waiting for sunset.DRUSILLA is holding her puppy,Miss Sunshine.We see CORDELIA unconscious and locked up in a cage in the background.
DRUSILLA
It was so nice of you to bring home dinner for Spike,Angel.
ANGEL
I do what I think is best for Spikey,him being stuck in that wheelchair and all.
SPIKE
You don't have to talk about me like I'm not here
CORDELIA wakes up,but the vampires don't notice.
DRUSILLA
I'm sorry,pet.Angel,when can Spikey kill the mean Slayer's friend?
ANGEL
Soon.Very soon.
FADE OUT
FADE IN:
A motel
EXT.SUNNYDALE MOTEL-NIGHT
Mulder and Scully have just gotten settled in their rooms and are leaving the motel to investigate.
SCULLY
Mulder,I just heard that a girl disapeared from the local club last night.
MULDER
What's her name?
SCULLY
Cordelia Chase.She is a junior at Sunnydale High.
MULDER
This place isn't very sunny is it?
FADE OUT
FADE IN:
A crowd is at The Bronze again.The lighting is dim and a live band is playing on the stage.
INT.THE BRONZE-NIGHT
MULDER and SCULLY push there way through the crowd.
SCULLY
It is going to be almost impossible to find any clues here.We don't even know what we're looking for.
MULDER
We'll know it when we find it.
FADE OUT
FADE IN:
The Bronze on the same night.
INT.THE BRONZE-NIGHT
WILLOW and XANDER are sitting at a table waiting for BUFFY.
XANDER
Do you see Buffy?
WILLOW
No.
XANDER
Wait,there she is.
WILLOW
I'll bring her over.
WILLOW goes to get BUFFY.
XANDER hears a noise behind him.He turns and sees DRUSILLA.DRUSILLA hits him over the head and pulls him out of The Bronze.
FADE OUT
FADE IN:
The table at the Bronze is empty when WILLOW and BUFFY return.
WILLOW
I wonder where Xander went.
BUFFY
He probably went to get a soda or something.Let's wait for him and if he doesn't come back soon we can look for him.
WILLOW
OK.
FADE OUT
FADE IN:
The Bronze about an hour later.
WILLOW
He should be back by now.
BUFFY
Let's go look for him.
WILLOW and BUFFY leave the table and go in seperate directions to look for XANDER.
WILLOW walks towards the door.A figure steps out in front of her.It is Angel.He knocked her out and pulls her out the door.SCULLY sees ANGEL drag an unconcious girl out the door and motions to MULDER to follow them.BUFFY also sees what happened and knows that if she fights ANGEL he will just run away so she decides to follow him and then fight him.
FADE OUT
FADE IN:
The warehouse is still dim.CORDELIA and XANDER are locked in a cage.
INT.WAREHOUSE-NIGHT
XANDER and CORDELIA are concious and see ANGEL saunter in with a struggling WILLOW.
WILLOW is also put in the cage.
DRUSILLA
Angel,now can we eat?
BUFFY steps out of the shadows.
BUFFY
Not yet!
ANGEL looks suprised to see BUFFY.A gun shot is heard and everyone looks over at MULDER who just shot a vampire that was trying to attack him.
BUFFY takes advantage of this moment to knock ANGEL down.ANGEL fell into DRUSILLA and then tripped over SPIKE's wheelchair sending Spike rolling backwards.BUFFY opens the cage and everyone gets away before the vampires could get up.
FADE OUT
FADE IN:
MULDER and SCULLY are heading back to Washington D.C.
INT.PLANE-MORNING
MULDER's cell phone rings.
MULDER
Mulder.
SOURCE
Agent Mulder.This is your goverment source.There is talk going on around the office.You and Agent Scully need to get back right away.
MULDER'S SORCE hangs up.
FADE OUT
FADE IN:
Same day
INT.SUNNYDALE HIGH SCHOOL LIBRARY
BUFFY,WILLOW,XANDER and CORDELIA walk in and find GILES and JENNY CALENDER.
GILES
Buffy,Jenny just told me that she found something.It's about Angel.
Ms.Calender
Buffy,I think I found the spell to restore Angel's soul.
