I had a half day today

from the malt shop to the mini mall

Slowly but surely not fall will come
and our love life will come with it
hoping u'd come out to see me
my love has no fee

I would give up all my half days
For just 1 day with you.
But we all know that won't happen
I might as well live in Aspen
I know the poem is a drag
but I don't dress in rag!
I know that the poem doesn't rhyme
but I don't have the time
I made it from the top of my head
and it will mean nothing once I am dead.
But I gladly would give up all my 1/2 days
