This is a fanfic dedicated to Buffy and Angel, it is Angel who has written a letter, and placed it on Buffy's grave. I wrote this for all the Bangel fans!

A Letter Goodbye.
It has been a hundred years since Angel first met the love of his life, Buffy Anne Summers.
She was 15 years old when he first saw her, 16 years old when he first met her.
From the very first moment he saw her he was hooked, in love.
The were amazing together, until everything fell apart.
The last time he saw her was when she was 25.
They had to work together on a case, nothing more.
She was over him, she had moved on, but he could never do that.
Never!
So that's why he wrote his feelings down in a letter, and put it on her grave.
"Dear Buffy, it has been 50 years since you died.
I could never get over you, not really.
I've always loved you, that we both know was true.
You stood by me in my times of need and I by you.
As a couple we didn't work out, we weren't supposed to be together.
I know that, you knew that too.
You moved on with your life, started a family.
I am so glad you were finally happy.
I let you move on because it was the right thing to do.
But I still loved you, I still do.
I never got the chance to tell you that last time we met.
You were one heck of a woman, and you'll always be that.
I'll never forget what you did for me, how you made me feel.
You made me feel alive, even though I wasn't.
And I'll always be grateful for that.
So I guess this was my letter goodbye to the one woman I have ever loved.
All I have to say to you know is Thank You and...
....GOODBYE."
He put the letter on her grave and with a hidden smile in his heart he walked away.
He walked away from the tombstone of the woman he once loved.
And he was grateful, grateful to have gotten the chance to know her.
To love her.
To touch her.
To say to her, his Goodbye.
