1. She Misses Him
I miss him. I know, I was really mad at him. He hurt her, hurt my sister. And at the time, I wished that he would burn in hell. But I get him better now. Why he did it. And he didn’t have a soul. Guess that’s a kinda good excuse. But he was always so nice to me. It was for Buffy but still…
I forgot who he was, what he was. A vampire, in love.
Now, he’s dead. He saved us all. And I never had the chance to tell him that I’m sorry. Not that I think that he thought about me much. At all. But he looked affected when I spit my venom at him. A remark there, a double-meaning here. I saw guilt in his unreadeble eyes but I didn’t understand, didn’t care to. Now I do.
He really loved her. Not that death would stop love. I believe love’s eternal.
I wish I could see him again.

2. He Misses Her
Got my body back a day or so ago. All corporal. Can touch, can feed, can fuck, what else do I need?

When the only thing that one can do is annoy the people around one, one easily gets bored. And then thinking was what I did. ‘bout things I left undone. Unsaid.
So I sit here with my bloody pen and my bloody paper, waiting for the words to come, and I don’t even know if she wants them. Does she miss me like I miss her? I thought ‘bout using the computer but figured that would be unpersonal, cold.
It seemed like I had lots to say when I couldn’t write, couldn’t touch anything. But now…
‘Sorry that I ignored you when your sister came back from the dead.
Sorry that I almost raped your sister.
Sorry for dying when I should have told you that I’m sorry.
Sorry for ignoring you after that. Again.’
I can’t write that, can I? Not that I’m not sorry. I regret so many things, soul or no soul.
But it’s honest. Let’s start there. No. No sorries. ‘How are you doing?’ No, no, not that.
