“I know you.” Buffybot said in her standard, preprogrammed, lilting tone as she reached over to pick up a toy off Buffy’s bed.
She accessed her image recognition database that Willow had recently updated. “You’re Mr. Gordo. You’re Buffy’s. Buffy loved you. She liked to play with you.” She paused then continued, “Spike loves me. We used to play too,” And ran her fingers over the peach fur, taking in the data the receptors recorded. “We’re both soft and cuddly,” she declared. Suddenly something sparked, connected, and her electric brain whirred. “We are the same, you and I: love toys.”
