She walked around in the moonlight, with her arms around herself, thinking.
"Mother?" asked a voice behind her.
She didn´t react.
"Mother?"
She spun around quickly to face him.
"Oh, Liam. What are ye doing here, son?"
He gave her a half-smile and answered.
"Looking after ye, mother. What are ye doing here?"
His mother smiled at him.
"I was just out walking. I couldn´t sleep."
He moved closer.
"And why is that, mother?"
She moved away from him, from the liqour stench around him.
"Because of all me nigthmares I have. Like this."
"Are ye telling me that I´m just a dream, mother? Is it that ye are saying?"
"Son, I love ye, but aye that´s what I´m saying. Ye are dead, I remember that."
She turned away from him and started to walk towards the house.
"Ye are just a dream, son."
He runs up to her and spins her around so she faces him. His beautiful face has been replaced by something hideous, something demonic and his mother gasps in horror.
"Wrong, mother. I am ye worst nightmare."
And before she can even scream he leans into her neck and bites her, draining her from all life, and drops her to the ground.
