| Awesome first chapter. I like how you twisted "Seeing Red" to give us Willow in action. I hope she pulls off some non=evil magic to save the day. I must read on now. |

Another fabulous chapter. It’s cool that Angel and Giles are coming to help. I loved, *loved* the part with Dawn. Great job referencing her shoplifting past. I like that she went to visit Spike and then her mom. I’m excited to see where Tara’s spell is going. I foresee a trip into Buffy’s brain where the slayer once again expresses her desire to finally rest.
Author's Response: Thanks for reading and leaving such a lovely review. I just couldn't leave Angel and Giles out of this. And as for Tara's spell...well you'll just have to read and find out. |

Great reference calling Angel. I imagine the perosn on the phone would be Gunn since Wes knows Willow. On Angel, Connor had either just returned or was just about to return. Giles is coming hme. Yay! Well, home for Buffy, not Giles I suppose. Great chapter.
Author's Response: Yeah, the person on the phone's Gunn, although it hardly matters. Honestly, I don't know Ats well enough to work out just what was going on in LA at the time, so I only have a general idea. Hope it's not too obvious. And I think Sunnydale is sort of home for Giles. After all, to use a horribly cliched expression, home is where the heart is. As always, thanks for the review! |

I'm curious to know what Tara's secret is. I can imagine, especially based on the last chapter, that she feels guilty for not helping Buffy outright. Maybe she'll try to go some natural, be-part-of-the-earth healing spell route. I can't wait to find up. All in all, another great chapter with wonderful characterizations and interesting plot development.
Author's Response: Thanks so much for reading and reviewing. You may be on to something with the be-part-of-the-earth idea...or maybe not. You'll see. |

| The description of the hospital room was pretty vivid. I also liked Tara's kind of apology to Buffy. Great chapter. |

The chair/culprit line was awesome. Classic Willow. I also like the argument about using magic. It's a great way to set tension between the people who just want Buffy fixed (Xander and Dawn) and the people who understand responsible use of magic (Willow/ Tara). And of course, Xander has selfish as well as altruistic reasons for wanting Buffy revived as soon as possible. The sooner she's awake, the sooner he can unburden himself of his guilt for yelling at her. For now, I imagine Willow and Tara have the upper hand as another slayer once awoke from a coma expected to be permanent. Still, the tension will continue as every day Buffy is in a coma, Dawn will suffer with absolutely no blood relatives to comfort her (unless Hank returns). I can imagine Xander (and possibly Spike), will lean on the shy and acquiescent Tara to revive Buffy almost daily. This is such a wonderful exploration of the characters.
Author's Response: I'm glad you approve. I really wanted to have Willow sticking up for Tara in the fight about magic to show how much she's grown this season, and how the two of them have grown together, since one of my favorite things about their relationship is that neither is clearly stronger than the other. Plus, I just love the similar bit in Older and Far Away. |

Another great chapter. The vivid descriptions in the beginning really made me feel like I was there. The scene in the high school was great. It juxtaposed the happy carefree life of an average teenager with the heartbreak that Dawn was about to endure. Referencing when Buffy got Dawn from art class to tell her about Joyce in "The Body" was great. It was a subtle way to remind us that poor Dawn lost her mom and now possibly her sister (twice) within a year. "Please let it be just an apocalypse, and not the end of the world" was a great line. It reminded me so much how the supernatural and the epic battles are something this group can readily handle. But even they are not immune to the small, personal tragedies that come to all of us and really do bring the end of the world as each of us know it.
Author's Response: Thanks again for leaving such an in-depth review. I'm glad you like the high school scene--I think it may be one of my favorites in this whole fic. In my opinion, Btvs is at its best when it's mixing natural "real-life" drama with the supernatural. And in the show, the real-life issues often do far more damage than the apocalypses. |

Wow- I really like this story. I think that's a great twist on "Seeing Red." I loved how you covered the emotional elements and internal monologues of the different character. Xander with his regret for the recent turn of events in his life and his treatment of Buffy (which he'll have to live with forever now). Willow and Tara and how happy they are. Even though we saw them wake up together on the show, we weren't privy to their thoughts as we were in your story. And then- wow- what an ending. What a twist. What a story!
Author's Response: Thanks so much for reading and leaving such a great review. Willow and Tara are, to my mind, just so perfect for each other that I just couldn't let her die. And I just really like writing internal monologues. |

Awesome story - you've got a lot of talent. You remained very true to the characters, and I love the fact Tara didn't die. The alternate ending was interesting - definitely not what I was expecting! It was great - though I hate to see Angel die :( If you ever get around to it, I think it'd be cool to see where you'd go with this story following the alternate ending. Keep up the great work!
Author's Response: Thanks for reading and reviewing! I love the fact that Tara didn't die too :) The alternate ending was supposed to be a shocker, so I don't think I'll continue it, but if inspiration strikes maybe....But for now, I'm focusing on Big Sister. |

Deja vu, all over again (Damn that Warren) Will Buffy make, Will Willow still go all Hellrasier, on him, Will I stop saying Will. Good jod.
Author's Response: Um, that was a bit confusing, but I think there was a compliment in there somewhere, so thanks! |

Intresting, we'll see were this goes.
Author's Response: Well, I'm probably not gonna continue this alternate ending, but maybe if I think of a way to make it worthwhile I will. However, I am seriously considering a sequel (using the other ending) but it's still in the speculation stage right now. |

Hahaha! Now THAT'S what I call an ending! Here I was expecting some sort of elaborate re-write of the final chapter and instead you just... kill Angel and I guess the story continues from there. Beautiful. Love it.
Author's Response: Thanks, lol. I could've continued it, had Anya take the wish back or something. But I just thought this way was so much more fun. Besides, I'm lazy; I've already written one serious ending, and I like it, so why bother writing another? Again, thanks for reading (and reviewing) my story. |

I loved this story. The end turned out to be realistic and the chapter itself was terrific. I can't wait to read the alternate ending, I love things like that. I am sooo happy I found this story!
Author's Response: Thanks so much for reading and reviewing! Just warning you, the alternate ending is a bit on the strange, maybe even silly, side. |

I hadn't got around to reading this, but when I started I read it all the way through without break... it's a really excellent what-if. Taking entire dialogues from other episodes and putting them into a new context is tricky, but you made it work, since you've really got all the characters down... a great read! (But you know, it's not too late to kill Warren. He can be shot trying to escape, or something. :-) )
Author's Response: Thanks so much for the review! Killing Warren is tempting (misogynistic creep. grrr, arrg) but I think I'll let him live for now. Or not. Maybe he died while the narrative was paying no attention to him. So...I'll leave it to the readers' imagination :) |

Really great writing. I particularly like your vivid descriptions, you really have a knack for setting the scene. I look forward to reading the rest!!
Author's Response: Thanks so much for reading and reviewing! Unfortunately I'm about to get much busier, but I'm hoping to get the next chapter out sometime next week. |
