| Ok, Joan Rivers bit aside (which was hillarious) I loved how very dark and emotional this chapter was. The story of Isabelle was excellent at revealing more of Wes's inner psyche and shows that he really wasn't quite as much of an asshat as we thought during his days as a Watcher.
Can't wait to read more - thanks so much for sharing! |

| The stumbling-over-the-bucket-gag was perfect - there was always just the hint of FumblyWes left even when he was at his darkest. And then that flashback... yowza. Really well done. Oh, and I am now completely out of ideas as to who it might be, so I'm just going to sit back and enjoy the ride. |

| Been away for a few days and get back to find another chapter of this. Still loving it. Wesley with a shotgun, that's just natural somehow. Loved Lilah's dream, too. |

| "Or maybe forgiveness is one of those boring good things that doesn’t need to be spoken. I can never keep track.” Brilliant, just brilliant - because we all know what unspoken words she's referring to here, don't we? Still a great mix of humour and sincerity (the Minesweeper thing was excellent). Not gonna guess who it is, though - Wesley is obviously ahead of me on that one already. |

| Another really good chapter - the story is moving along, and the Senior Partner kicks ass. Great writing too, really - for some reason I love the line "As the blood rushed through the gaping hole in her throat, her weakening heartbeat only serving to pump the life out of her more quickly" - wonderful eye for detail there. As for guesses... well, I got hooked on that idea of people who had gone to the Watcher's academy with Wesley and some little voice whispered "Ethan", though of course he's a bit older... and I sort of hope it isn't him, he just seems a little bit too convenient sometimes. But if it's him, I'm sure you'll pull it off. |

Lilah was quickly becoming frustrated. It was times like these that she almost wished Gavin were around, just so she’d have someone she could abuse. But, from what she heard, the Senior Partners had sent him to a hell-dimension where he was stranded on an island with a loving spouse and an enormous monster.
BWAHAHA! So timely and hillarious, especially as last night's ep of Lost had Gavin and Holland bickering. (Sorry, that's who they still are at times in my head.)
Brilliant chapter again. Sorry, no idea who has Wes's soul, but since it's stuck in a PB jar, I'm going to guess...Andrew? (Sounds like something wacky he'd do.)
Author's Response: "...especially as last night's ep of Lost had Gavin and Holland bickering."
Holy moly, I completely forgot that Holland is on "Lost" too!
The secret of the island is so obvious now. It is... a Wolfram and Hart picnic reunion! |

Being stuck on "Lost" must surely be some kind of hell... :-D Seriously, another great chapter. Nice parallel with Medea and Jason, too - I'm a sucker for stuff like that. No idea who's got Wesley, though... except... well... nah. Not gonna guess yet. But go on!
Author's Response: Aww, now I'm really curious about who you think it is! Come on, spill! |

You're right, I do wanna type something in that little review box. Awsome!! I love your style and descriptiveness. Your Senior Partner sounds fearsome and I like Lilah's mission to get Wes' soul (rescue perhaps?). I hope you keep it up - I look forward to reading more!
Author's Response: "You're right, I do wanna type something in that little review box."
I knew it. I must have Jedi mind-control powers or something.
Thanks for reviewing! |

| This is excellent. I'm a huge fan of Wes & Lilah's... um... heck, there's a signed dollar bill: Wes and Lilah's relationship. And this is a great setup: Lilah literally crawling her way out of hell, the very well-used flashbacks, Gunn's fate, and of course Ecnel’ovelam... haha. Please continue, I'd love to see where you're taking this. |
