I hadn't gotten around to reading this before, but seeing as I loved the first chapter of your Lilah fic, I tried this one too - and it's just as good, only obviously very different. Great sense of humour without losing touch of the darker undertones. I mean, really, who cannot appreciate the simple beauty of the sound of a salesman screaming in agony? Excellent job from start to finish.
