It was good.
Seriously, the only reason I put off reading this is because it was simply so long... but it needed to be that long; lots of character exposition here. Loved Faith's and Xander's flashbacks. Excellent job, as with everything you write.

Yeah, it turned out a lot longer than I thought it'd be and the Faith flashback just kinda happened. It was supposed to be kinda short, but it just wouldn't stop flowing outta my head! ;) Still, everyone seems to have liked it, so it was worth it! :) |

Like you asked: It's good! I've never thought about a Dawn/Kennedy pairing, but it's actually quite nice! And with the way you're setting this story up, even the Willow/Buffy pairing is fine by me... :) Good work!

I always like your stories a lot, and this one is no exception. Great characterizations, very articulated. If I had any small gripe, it's that people seem to be snapping out of the whole a-bunch-of-people-we-know-and-love -just-died a liiiittle too quickly, but that's neither here nor there when the story is this well-written. Hope to read more!

Yes, I like the interaction between Giles and Faith. Very good start. Cant wait to see more.
Author's Response: Thank you. Gotta admit, with this one, I've been influenced quite a bit by Keith Collins and his treatment of Faith. 'Course, I 've always liked her too ;) |
