Good thing she knows a lawyer. Niki should almost qualify for W&H representation by now... well, maybe not. Great chapter as always.

Hmmm, intrigued and a bit confused, but that could be the beer talking. Could Jesse perhaps be the person she needs to trust? Since it's obviously not Addison (nice scene with the gun, reminiscent of OMWF actually) and not Logan, since he's being pushed in the other direction by his dear employers... Oh well. I'm gonna have a few more and read the next chapter when it comes up. Like it as always. Oh, and nice to see Hanna play a larger part!

"...'I am leaving, I am leaving' - but the fighter still remains." Yowza. So Niki gets a reality check and doesn't really like it much. Oh well, Addison is always so good at setting her right, isn't he? (Nah.) And Logan seems to be clearing everything up, which of course has to mean that something is going very wrong... Why do I get the feeling this is going to make season 1 look like a happy picnic in Central Park? Great job as always.

Author's Response: Addison's not good for much, is he? By the end I hope to make the S1 battle seem like the 'good old days', and Logan's no where near finished yet, despite his best efforts. Thanks for the reviews!

Author's Response: Well, she doesn't have an evil mentor, like one's who's going to turn into a massive snake, but she doesn't have many good role models either. I like how you're counting down to Spike getting there. I like to think I have a little time left.

Well, that's ONE way to deal with pesky cops... perhaps not the way endorsed by 9 out of 10 doctors, but still... Of course, you can never trust a coma patient. But there's something eerily cold about Niki's execution-by-proxy of Harrison... and making deals with the Goths? Yeah, that'll end well.
