Just... beautiful. I love how you write Faith, being pulled what she wants to be and what she has done... and what she will have to do. And of course she can't turn to the others for help either... Nice touch with "Romulus and Remus", too.
Author's Response: For me, Faith was one of the verse's top three characters (together with Wes and Cordy). But while Wes and Cor had beautiful character development to go with amazing performers, Faith got over on the sheer strength of Eliza's performance.

Oh, absolutely, I'm not saying he's never justified. But when he carries a grudge, he lets everybody know regardless of whose toes he steps on... and even if a lot of those toes definitely deserve to be stepped on, he's not usually Mr. Forgive-and-forget. Part of the reason I love him as a character. (And yes, I am.)
Author's Response: For me, it depends on the grudge. With Spike he was 100% in the right, Spike never changed, only cared about the damage he did to Buffy, not to the world in general.
Now Angel on the other hand is a different matter. On Buffy, he was much the same as Spike, only concerned with himself. And I don't blame Xander for not trusting him. But on Angel, Angel, through Doyle, Cordelia, and Wes, became someone who truly cared.
Would Xander trust him? Probably not. Should Xander trust him? Probably.
You'll find that in most of my stories, Angel and Xander come to an understanding. |

As a huge Faith fan, I really like this... great character depth, playing both the strengths and weaknesses of everybody. Of course Xander can be the world's biggest asshole when he thinks he has reason. Hope you can update soon!
Author's Response: Xander's got a temper no doubt. But If you're refering to when he had his outbursts at Buffy, for my money he was 100 % in the right. Buffy was selfishly risking their lives in pursuit of a roll in the hay.
And if a woman concealed the fact she'd had your child wouldn't you be annoyed? Assuming you're the male of the species (oops).
Anyway, thanks for the review.
