That was excellent. And much more fun to read than A) my AP World textbook, or B) Henry V. Anyway, I agree with Beer Good about the way you just dropped in every few years. But I think Smart cars are adorable (of course, I've never actually been inside one, so....)! My only complaint is that we Buffy didn't really explain why she didn't visit (well, she probably did in the fanfic equivalent of offscreen).

Giles bought Dawn a Smart? I guess that must mean he's evil; those things are horrible. The automobile version of a chihuahua. Kidding aside, nice scene. Really liking this approach - just drop in on them every few months and check what's happening.

It's a good thing this isn't an "Angel" crossover, or she might have been Rae Gunn. (Sorry. Hope you meant you'd seen Angel s2, or that joke makes even less sense.) Anyway, it's an interesting setup, and I hope we get a lot of chapters before you reach "Crackpot"...

this is a great start. it really makes you feel like it's the beginning of season 8. i can't wait to see where you take it. i also compliment you on you're choice of words. i can still remember the first time i admonished something. good job
