I agree, I'm surprised there aren't a lot more reviews, because this was an excellent story, very well written and well thought out. I loved it.

I can't believe this hasn't gotten more reviews. It's excellent; well-written, everyone's in character (which is not always the case with a "message" fic, if you don't mind me calling it that), plus I HAVE to love a fic that brings in Parker and even gives him a chance to be a pretty nice guy. Very well done.
Author's Response: Thank you. As I said above, I believe that keeping the characters in character is extremely important in fanfic. As for this story being a "message" fic, I certainly don't mind it being called that, but that's not how it started. This story is the purging of some personal demons. There was a real Date-Rape Darren at my college. As for Parker, I'm glad that worked out in a believable way. That was a challenge I set myself after seeing him tortured to death by Angel in one too many fics: to see if I could redeem him. No question, he was a serious jerk, but maybe even a jerk could grow up if he had to face something like this. |

This is well-written. You've written Riley in particular really well; Buffy and Willow are also true to character. Cliff hangers are always nice. Good work!
Author's Response: Thank you. I consider that to be very high praise. Fanfic, more than any other genre, is all about the characters. This was never intended to be a cliffhanger - it's just that you can only get the chapters up so fast :-) |
