I have been reading this story and being to lazy to review... so i decided that i owe it to you to do a nice long one... first of all good idea for around Halloween, plus I'm a horror movie fiend so I love it! Although I'm upset there isn't a lot more Freddy in here.. hopefully he will come later... like in the finally stand-off between him and the last surviving hero or heroine... Nice piece... it's very hard to write horror, there's a fine line between gorely and nondescriptive... you've done it very well...
Author's Response: Thanks for the review, and yes, Freddy will stand out more as the story goes on, but I've been holding back, just a little, to make people want him more. By the way I've finnished "Is the price worth paying?" nd since your one of the people that incuroged me to do it, I'd like to know what you think of it, if you have time (no pressure though). The fic is just getting better and better and you are doing such a really really fantastic job on this!! but really, i didn't like how Xander was acting. he was acting like such a ass to poor Tara. shame on him lol!! got one question though, will the Scooby Gang ever find out about Freddy's gruesome history about him being a child molester and everything? i really hope so cause i think it will add a more scary vibe to it but thats just mine opinion. So far like i said, you're doing an amazing job on this!! keep up the great work and update soon!!
Author's Response: Xander wasn't an Ass, HA HA. That was just Tara's Nightmare, because her worst fear is being rejected by people she loves. Plus remember in season 4, she thought she was part Demon, so I used that to. As for Freddy's back story, that's coming up. By the way, if nobody realised it. Jacob, is the same Jacob, from Nightmare 5. I wasn't going to use anyone from the Elm Street series, but I wanted to have a reason Freedy was in Sunnydale. Plus, Jacob was a baby, in that movie, so by having him be Dawn's age, he's like a new character, even though he teacincaly isn't. Thanks for the kind words. |

I thought of a way for you to kill Andrew! Tucker is his brother, right, so he technically was around just not with the gang. So you can write a chapter about a Sunnydale resident getting killed and have it be Andrew. Is that a good idea or what?

Hey, really loving the nightmare on elm street meets sunnydale! Perfect for Halloween. And I should so have my husband read this - he's a huge Freddy fanatic. Anyway, awesome fic so far ... should be very interesting to see who you decide is going to get axed and who lives - if anyone, or if they even stop freddy!

Creeeeepy. Horror isn't easy to write (as some of the Elm Street sequels show) but this is going great... so everyone doing the research party thing, hmmm? Wonder who'll be the first to yawn...

Its probably not a good idea that I read this since Nightmare on Elmstreet terrified me (and still does) but oh well. This is good. Update soon.

i love the krugger movies tho the latest one was more of a comedy i think. i gotta say this fic is gonna be so very different then the rest, considering as u've already stated, none of the characters are safe,(poor anya). since there will be more death to come, i kinda hope buffy gets it, though its not like that's stopped her in the past! looking forward to the next chap.
Author's Response: I guess you mean Freddy, vs Jason, which I did like, even though Freddy was to goof, again, and Jason came of a weaker, which they should have been evenly match (get back to the point Axel) I'm glad somebody felt bad for Anya, but nobodys safe. My only regert, is that Andrew wasn't around then, I sure would love to kill him. Thanks for reading. |

"Gimme some sugar..." I do believe that's an "Army of Darkness" quote, right? Definitely very spooky, and you've got those trademark jumps between dream and reality down perfectly... I have a feeling the Espresso Pump is going to sell a LOT of caffeine before this is through! :-)

Hey loverboy, give me some sugar?? lol!! i hate to admit, that line is cheesy but very funny lol!! at least Anya is....well.... you know. i really don't wanna say it here cuz it'll spoil the fic and all but anyways, i think chappie number 2 is now better than the first chappie. keep up the super great work and i already added this to my fave fics already so that something. please if you can be careful with some of the misspelling. other than that, keep up the great work!! and update soon if you can! this fic is so awesome!!

Excellent start! As a huge fan of the original "Nightmare", I can't wait to see where you're taking this... of course, theoretically everyone but Buffy would die, but I suppose all bets are off... Also, you gave me an idea for a very different halloween story. Keep it up!
Author's Response: I look forward to your story. This will defienatly lean more to the original nightmare. The later ones had there momentes, but Freddy became like Jim Carry after awile. I not saying he won't have a sense of humor, but it will be dark humor, because I want to bring back the Nasty, vicious Freddy. Thanks for reviewing. |

this is the first fic i have read from you and all i gotta say is kudos to you because i dont think anyone has ever done a freddy krugger fic whatsoever and i am really damn glad you did. the first chappie sounds scary so far and it is so perfect for Halloween. now if there were other authors who would do a scary fic like you cause it is october after all wa ha ha. keep up the great work and i am really super looking forward for the next chappie. by the way, is there a chance riley will get killed cause i really hate his guts lol. update soon if you can!!
