Alright. This is very griping. I had a hard time stopping the reading to go to bed at a decent hour. Cant wait to finish it. Keep up the good work. Love it!

I've only read through Chapter 5 so far, but I'm hooked. I admit to being totally skeptical about Buffy being the villain and the Tara/Spike pairing, but you've proven all my fears to be totally unfounded :) You've got a fantastic story going right here, and I can't wait to finish it. Keep up the great writing!

hey great chapter as usual. i feel so bad for dawn right now. how she must be feeling to find out that her sister has a completely different side that she has never seen. not to mention that, that side is a wacko! i can't wait to read to slumber party episode. i hope buffy doesn't get wise. though i think tara could handle her.

I didn't really think that season 6 ruined Buffy as a hero, it was darker then other seasons, and that was, well, I don't know actualy, but I do know that I like your story

where do i start.. well firstly, i'm sorry i haven't reviewed earlier, thats mainly because i'm to slack to log in! this story is absolutly amazing! buffy is my least fav character so i can totally see her filling the role of the "villian" besides it's not that big a leap from her personality on the show.
i love spike (who doesn't) and the fact that you have managed to make him so vunrable and still stay true to him awesome. i had never even thought about pairing spike and tara together, but you make it seem so natural. i would like to see a little more of dawn and i'm praying tara will go wiccan on buffy's ass! great story, great writing, keep it up (for as long as possible)
Author's Response: Thanks for your kind review :) I've always thought Spike/Tara would work, cause he loves so completely and needs someone who's gentle and loving enough not to use it against him...Don't worry, Dawn's about to make her entrance... :) lol; and Tara's a sweet girl, but she can only take so much abuse heaped on her man...we just might see a showdown between her and Buffy yet... :) |

Continues to fascinate... I like how you slipped around the orientation issue; most people seem to assume that Tara's always been gay, but of course it's never really stated openly on the show. Let's put it this way; normally, the idea of Spike/Tara would creep me out, but you've got me hooked... keep going!
Author's Response: Thanks; the show never gave us any reason to believe that Tara couldn't be at least bi...though in this story i'm leaning more toward her relationship with Willow being at attempt to escape from being hurt by men--and having her have the realization that a woman could hurt her as bad or worse than a man. |

Great story! They way you begin, by throwing us into the conflict, is absolutely captivating. You have great insight into all of the characters and their emotions. The dialogue, despite your protestations, is dead on. Although you stated in your summary that Buffy would be “a villain throughout”, I certainly think you give her a fair and somewhat sympathetic portrayal here. For example: “no one on earth had ever been through what she had been through . . . normal or not, her reaction was becoming more and more destructive, to those around her, but also to herself.” This is certainly not a condemnation of Buffy in even the slightest form. What amazes me is that you do this while also (and this is quite something) getting me to feel some modicum of pity for evil Spike. Equally brilliant is the fact that you have so much emotion and character exploration, but still don’t skimp on the plot. As I said, great story!

It's dark, but not TOO dark. As a huge fan of the stronger single Tara, I really like this... and Buffy always had a really dark streak, so this isn't too much of a departure. Keep it up!
Author's Response: Thanks for the positive feedback :) Yeah, I think this is just kind of the natural end for Buffy's selfish, all-about-me-and-what-I-want attitude from Season Six...like what might have happened if she'd allowed herself to give in completely to her own darkness. Interesting. And awesome! This is definitely my kind of story. Kinky, eotic, and true to the characters, though the darkest parts of them. Keep it up.
