So reading this took me 3 days, between my massive socials project, classes and my life (hahaha I do have one despite my geeky... tendencies....) This was SO incredibly awesome. Looking forward to the sequal. ^_^

Author's Response: hey...thanx so much for all your reviews, glad you are enjoying my first ever story :) ... just so you know the sequel is already started, it's posted on here as far as i've gotten, the title is "Always Yours"...but it's kind of on pause for now, working on some other projects...so if you wanna wait to read it, that's fine... lol...thanx so much for all the great feedback :)

Oh SO good. I can't wait to see how/if they get through to Willow. I'm getting kicked off the comp, but I'm printing it so I can read it before I sleep. This is so addicting. I've never even thought about Spike and Tara, but now that I do it just makes so much sense. Keep up the great work!

I just spent an hour and a half straight reading the last 22 chapters, and I had to stop at various points in time to say "I love these people!" aloud. You've portrayed people well, and I really, really love that everyone loves Spike and that Spike loves everyone and then Buffy's evil and everyone's angry and Tara's lovely and everything's so lovely. It's so lovely! You're very talented. Keep writing. (I'll read your sequel at some point, just... not right now.) : )

Sorry its taken me awhile to review. But I just want to say again that you're a wonderful writer, and I was completely blown away by this story. You took a chance with the Buffy evil and Tara/Spike pairing, and it worked beautifully. Again, fantastic job!

I like the ending; one of the reasons I liked "Chosen" (and loved "Not Fade Away") is the way they don't really end; you can't just follow a bunch of characters for years and then just draw a line and say "And then they lived happily ever after, The End". Life goes on. So it makes perfect sense for your story to end in a situation where things aren't all solved and everyone's happy... glad Buffy and Willow survived, though. Looking forward to the sequel!

Author's Response: Thanx; glad you liked that; I definitely wanted Tara to beat Buffy down for hurting her man, but I thought it was only fair to give Spike the chance for some vengeance, since he was helpless for most of the story

The scene between Spike and Dawn was great. And poor Spike! I felt so bad for him when he told them to leave and not worry about him - that they need to get the spell done, even though Buffy could very well kill him by that point! Great update :)
