Lovely. You may not like to write battle scenes, but you did a good job of focusing on people while the battle was going on; we're seeing Faith while the Mayor leads into the school instead of watching Angel run through it. Again, I say lovely. The only thing you might change is that you need to put more emphasis on the Mayor following Angel into the school. The first time I read this it was totally lost on me. Anyway, this is very very good and I hope you update soon.
Author's Response: Thanks! Ha, the reason I focus on people while the battle is going on is because then I don't have to really write about the battle. It didn't occur to me that people might not notice that one sentence about the Mayor following Angel...but then, I knew what was going on, so it's hard for me to judge.... |

Whoah, you, like, killed Devon! That was cool. (Sorry.) Anyway, another good chapter. I like the way you portray Faith, not TOO repentant, but not necessarily evil all the way through either... I wouldn't have minded seeing some more scenes from the battle, but what's there is really good. Hope you have time to update again in the not-too-distant-future, I've been missing this fic...
Author's Response: Well, I had to kill somebody, and I thought people might hate me if I killed Xander, so it was either Devon or Jonathon....But anyway, thanks! I don't really like writing battle scenes, so I pretty much just did the essential parts. |

Since we all know that most of the fic was taken from graduation day, i loved it nonetheless. i just started reading the first chappie today but i read all 4 chappies and its really awesome. i really loved the whole Buffy/Faith fighting and everything and that some of the scenes are different from the eppies. i really love this and im glad i caught it in time to read it. You are doing a kick ass great awesome job on this MissEdith so i really truly hope you'll update really really soon!!!

I know it's been a long time since I updated, but I'm working on it...I'm about 1/3 of the way through the next chapter (I've gotten hung up on the fight scene...oh how I hate fight scenes). I've been insanely busy, but I hope to finish the chapter within the next week or two. |

I liked Jim somehow, he has potential :) The Buffy/ Faith bit was surreal, but I loved it. All the characters were perfectly written. Definitely an interesting idea!

Wonderful! Truly, season 3 was fantastic, and I absolutely loved Faith and the mayor - they were perfect villains ... the mayor always cracked me up. Anyway, again I'm so anxious to see how the fight goes down without Buffy. This is making for really interesting reading, and I really hope you can update soon! Again, awesome work!

I'm anxious to see how the fight goes down without Buffy too...I have most of it worked out, but I feel like someone needs to die (I'm not homicidal, really, I swear) and I can't decide who it should be! Great update - I can't wait to see where you take this from here. Its definitely interesting to see what might've happened if things had gone the other way and Buffy was left in the coma. Keep it coming :)

Eh heh, I didn't finish that thought. It's a wonderful idea to have Faith as the one who woke instead of Buffy. I can't wait to see how it turns out. Write more, please!
Author's Response: Thanks! I had some trouble with the dream sequence, 'cuz it's such a great dream, but I had to change things, obviously, since they've kinda switched positions. There might be a bit of a wait until the next chapter because I can't decide which of the possible scenarios I want to actually happen...I hope that made sense. |
