I'm intrigued by this vampire in a KISS shirt. A KISS shirt? Is that important? And this vampire slayer is just plain cool. I'm interested to see why she likes vampires "too much." Self-destructive? Drawn to the darkness? Both? I really like this fic.

“If he comes after my family,” he said, opening the door, “I’ll make him wish he’d never been born.” The door closed with loud finality." Love that bit. What better way to tell Niki that she's not a priority? And suddenly Pierce's name makes a whole lot more sense... yikes. That was violent (golf club? ouch) but great. Curious to see exactly which vengeance demon will turn up... BTW, is it just me or is Niki really spiralling out of control with the booze and the Stuff now? Imagining a Slayer at AA... "Hi, I'm Niki and I'm an alcoholic. I get drunk everytime I've killed someone, which is to say every night... why are you all staring at me like that?"
