OK, as stories go, yours are pretty damn unputdownable (or whatever the equivalent is when reading on a computer screen). This was, the occasional slight gripe aside, one of... no, wait, it's like FOUR of the most well-thought-through fics I've read. I love how you weave Loki into canon up to "Seeing Red". Loki himself is one of the best original characters I've read in fanfic - an asshole, to be sure, a mass murderer and a sadist, but never of the eye-rolling mwahaha-I'm-evil school of Big Bads. Having Willow and Tara re-kill Tara was a bit sadistic, but very well done, and I was surprised to feel at least as moved by Loki's passing.
I love how everything in these four interweaving fics happens for a reason, or if not for a reason, then at least has consequences. If you don't own a big board with all the various characters and incidents connected by arrows and lines in at least three colours, I don't know how you do it. If my hat was in orbit by the end of "Reckless", I am now making serious plans to export every single hat on the face of the earth to Saturn's moons.
"Your credit card's in Tibet." Yep.
Author's Response: Glad you liked! I hope Reckless helped it make sense and I had a great time writing them all. I think Loki turned out exactly as I had originally intended - and actually, I don't have a big board, just lots of pages. I'm a big fan of canon and I just like to dabble in AU's. I don't know what we're all going to do without hats, they're so useful and everything, but thank you for your loyal reviews this whole time - I don't know if Reckless would have made it without you. Thanks again - cheers. |

| Yeah, I've been reading this and really like it, but I just had to comment on the scene of Alexius coming out of the alley: THAT is a knight of Byzantium. THAT'S what they should have been on the show instead of the Monty Python And The Holy Grail-esque clowns they were. Like Frank Miller's Batman to... uh, TV's Batman. They're still a somewhat silly concept, but I buy him. Horse, mail, cross, every ancient sweaty detail. Good job. |

| Ok, I know what Loki just did was wrong, and evil. But Damn I'm glad Whistlers dead! I NEVER liked him! But I guess you know that. Anyway good work. |

| I've wonderd about clones too (I'm not kidding), I do believe in souls (Though I'm not trying to telling people what to believe) And since they are cloning now. I've wonderd about that. Anyway great work. |

Great chapter, and I like the way you explain Time travel (I've always wonder, if going back in time could really change things, for the same reasons you talk about here) by the way, sorry I haven't reviewed in awile, been busy with this story called Reckless, you really should check it out.
Author's Response: lol, thanks for the review! Sorry I'm a little sticky at updating Reckless, but I've so busy I can barely find time to sleep. I promise I'll give you another act before the end of the week, and thanks for sticking with it! |

| "Dawn drew in a small breath and let her center of mass carry her over the point of no return. She fell." -- Made me shiver. Just lovely. |

You see, I liked this story already, and then you go and put it in the context of Byzantium/Crusades. Whee! History geeker-joy! Much prefer this to the S5 Knights of Byzantium - their epic quality felt a little lost without a backstory.
Author's Response: My thoughts exactly! Thanks for the review (and the Whee)!

Totally suck at expressing myself. All I can say is that your story is gorgeous, simply a treat to read. I'm so glad Whistler's in it! I always wished he'd cropped up more in Buffy. (Not expecting a review in return, because this totally wasn't a 'favour'). Can't wait to read more. You're an extremely talented individual. :)
Author's Response: Thank you very much. You don't suck at expressing yourself: no one's ever called a story of mine 'gorgeous' before, and I appreciate it to no end. I thought Whistler had a unique way about him that deserved some revisiting. I'm glad you like it and thanks for reviewing! |

Great chapter, So we now know how he lost his soul. I guess the moral is, if a Werlech Demon sit's down beside you, don't just sit there.
Author's Response: The moral is: don't hire a Werlech demon to... oops, don't want to give anything away! |

OK Haargan's telling a story (I went back and read, must have missed it the first time, it was the very last line, I'm not perfect, OK, get off my back) Forget my last reveiw.
Author's Response: Actually, it was inspired by Kingdom of Heaven, not Lord of the Rings, and I thought nothing short of an epic battle would do for the first discovery of the Key. And hey, we need *some* historical (and yes, it's accurate) context for the knights of Byzantium. |

| So it's Lord of the Rings now, is it. Is Alexius, Loki. What the Hell is going on! |

So Loki, was Oz's teacher. I always wondered if Oz was really better off, after his training (since he could change by getting anger, not just the full moon) so it makes sence that Loki's teaching him (because where never really sure about him ether). Great story so far.
Author's Response: Hurray! Someone caught the very essence of Loki: You're never really sure... Thanks for the reviews! |

Very cool ending to a very intricate storyline. I'd tell you to update soon but that's not going to work here.... so get cracking on a new story and post it. Soon. Before I get the withdrawal symptoms.
Author's Response: Thanks. I knew it had to end sometime (though it hasn't really ended, it's just finished), and I'm glad you liked it. The idea was to get it woven into the BtVS/Ats universe so as not to have to create a [ permanent ] alternate universe. I hope I have succeeded, and thanks, gumboy, for all your support and reviews. |
